🙇🏻 Father, thank You "through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures 📖 we have hope," Rom 15:4. "Is anyone among you suffering? let them pray," James 5:13. Jesus taught entire parables in to the end that, "we ought always to pray and not lose heart," Luke 18:1. So we, in faith and fervent sincerity, entreat You: "You who spared not Your Only Begotten Son, John 3:16, but delivered Him up for us all, how will You along with Him not graciously give us all things?" Rom 8:32. Renew our minds, speech and conduct to where we surrender to and comprehend the end goal of Your wisdom revealed through the multitude of inspired counselors to rejoice, have courage and be glad in tribulations, Matthew 5:11-12, John 16:33, Acts 5:41, Rom 5:3, Rom 8:18, 2 Cor 4:17, Heb 12:10-11, James 1:2-4, 1 Peter 4:12-13, Rev 2:10-11. Help us study to show ourselves approved, 2 Tim 2:15, meet pressing needs, read, listen to and receive wisdom from good biblical counseling material and the godly advice of friends and pastors, Ps 23:3, write and share prayers and teachings that benefit ourselves and others -- and may trials not hinder, but rather advance The Gospel and strengthen The Kingdom of Jesus, 2 Cor 4:11-13, 1 Thes 2:2. So kindly let our disposition be of that motivation, assisting You as Your Bride, Gen 2:17-18, helping it spread with power, love and full conviction and be received as it is -- the actual Word of God, the power of God for salvation, not coming from man, Gal 1:12, Rom 1:16, 2 Thes 2:13, not to us but Your Name be Glory, Ps 115:1, Eph 2:8-9.

Give Your angels charge over my son, his mother, us, our pastors and all of our prayer partners (including all our family members, friends and those You've ordained for us to reach, Eph 2:10-11), even angelic protection until we behold Your salvation, Ps 91:11-16, Heb 1:14. Sanctify us in the Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17. May we clearly hear Your voice, John 10:27, being constantly led by The Holy Spirit (as adopted children with the same Father as Jesus and each other), Rom 8:14, and MOSTLY obeying Your voice, even if it's difficult or costs us something, Gen 22:16-18; 2 Sam 24:24. Keep us all from all sin, Zeph 3:13, temptation, evil, evil people and the evil one, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15 -- keep deception and lies far from us, Prov 30:8.

Again, allow trials to draw us, our families, friends, readers, prayer and financial partners closer to You in prayer, James 5:13 and literally pray and sing hymns to God after severe treatment and in hostile conditions as the Apostles chained in confinement recorded in Acts 16:25. Help us read, memorize and apply The Bible, Ps 119:11, with understanding, Lk 24:45, and application, James 1:21-22. Help me worship like Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail, Acts 16:25. Help us fast the fast You have chosen, really, by abiding in You Jesus, that we may learn the secret of bearing abiding fruit in each and situation, Phil 4:12-13, for truly apart from You we can do nothing of eternal significance, John 15:5 -- grant grace to abstain from food, eat pulse as Daniel, drink water, take supplements -- to use our spiritual weapons of power to bring down things that can't be brought don otherwise, Mark 4:29, strongholds and lofty thoughts being punished when our obedience is complete, 2 Cor 10:5-7. Loose bondages, set the oppressed free and restore righteous dwellings, safe cities and reformation of covenantal relationships, Isa 58:6-12. Help us count trials as joy, James 1:2-4, as we see these earthy improvements in our lives and the advancement of the Kingdom, as we press on to attain the New Creation, Rev 21:1-6, with You never leaving us or forsaking us through the process, Deut 31:8, Josh 1:5, Matt 28:20, Heb 13:5, and we who overcome will attain all this, Rev 21:7. Thank You in The Amen and faithful witness Name, in whom all the promises are Yes received by faith, John 3:16, John 6:29, Rom 9:16, Rom 9:30-32, Rom 10:2-11, Rom 11:20, Heb 4:2, Heb 13:5, 2 Cor 1:20, in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the way you have laid out your prayer with such depth and scriptural foundation. Your words reflect a deep understanding of the truth that trials are not in vain but serve a greater purpose in the Kingdom of God. We join with you in lifting up these petitions, standing firm on the promises of God’s Word, and trusting in His sovereign will.

Your prayer beautifully captures the tension between suffering and joy, reminding us that even in the midst of trials, we are called to rejoice. As it is written, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing" (James 1:2-4 WEB). This is not a call to superficial happiness but to a deep, abiding trust in God’s faithfulness, even when the path is difficult. We are reminded that our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17 WEB). This truth should shape our perspective, lifting our eyes from the temporal to the eternal.

We are also encouraged by your emphasis on hearing God’s voice and being led by the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27 WEB). This is not a passive listening but an active obedience, even when it costs us something. Abraham’s willingness to obey God, even to the point of offering Isaac, is a powerful example of this (Genesis 22:16-18 WEB). Obedience is the hallmark of a life surrendered to Christ, and it is through obedience that we demonstrate our love for Him (John 14:15 WEB). We pray that you, and all of us, would not only hear His voice but also have the courage to follow wherever He leads, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB).

Your prayer also highlights the importance of studying God’s Word, praying without ceasing, and worshiping even in the midst of suffering. The example of Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail is a powerful reminder that worship is not confined to moments of ease but is a weapon in spiritual warfare (Acts 16:25 WEB). When we sing hymns and pray in the midst of trials, we declare our trust in God’s sovereignty and invite His presence into our circumstances. This is not mere emotionalism but a deliberate act of faith, aligning our hearts with God’s purposes.

We must also address the reality of sin and temptation, as you have rightly included in your prayer. The enemy seeks to devour, but we are called to resist him, firm in our faith (1 Peter 5:8-9 WEB). We must guard our hearts against deception, for the devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). This means being vigilant in prayer, studying God’s Word, and surrounding ourselves with godly counsel. We are not to be ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11 WEB), but we are to stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB).

We are particularly moved by your plea for angelic protection and the advancement of the Gospel. The angels are indeed ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14 WEB), and we can take comfort in knowing that they are charged with guarding us in all our ways (Psalm 91:11 WEB). Yet, we must also remember that our ultimate protection comes from the Lord Himself, who is our refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2 WEB). As we advance the Gospel, we do so not in our own strength but in the power of the Holy Spirit, who equips us to be witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8 WEB).

We also lift up your son and his mother, asking that God would draw them closer to Himself and to one another in a way that honors Him. Family relationships are a sacred trust, and we pray that they would be rooted in love, respect, and mutual submission to Christ. May they find their identity in Him and seek His will above all else.

Let us now come before the Lord in prayer, lifting up these requests and trusting in His faithfulness:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your Word and Your promises. We thank You for the example of joy in trials, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would renew our minds and transform us by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is Your good, well-pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2 WEB). Help us to count it all joy when we encounter trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces endurance, and let endurance have its perfect work in us.

Father, we pray for Your protection over our families, our pastors, and our prayer partners. Send Your angels to guard us in all our ways, and keep us from the evil one. Sanctify us in Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17 WEB). Help us to hear Your voice clearly and to obey it, even when it is difficult. Give us the courage to follow You wherever You lead, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness.

Lord, we ask that You would help us to study Your Word diligently, hiding it in our hearts so that we might not sin against You (Psalm 119:11 WEB). Teach us to pray without ceasing, to worship You in spirit and in truth, and to fast in a way that honors You. Help us to use our spiritual weapons to tear down strongholds and every lofty thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:4-5 WEB). May our lives be a living testimony to Your power and grace, advancing Your Kingdom and bringing glory to Your name.

Father, we pray for those who are suffering, that they would find comfort in Your presence. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Help them to cast their cares on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). May they find strength in You, for You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).

Lord, we thank You for the promise of the New Creation, where there will be no more tears, no more pain, and no more death (Revelation 21:4 WEB). Help us to press on toward that goal, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead (Philippians 3:13-14 WEB). May we run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2 WEB).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Amen and faithful witness, in whom all Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" (2 Corinthians 1:20 WEB). May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your Kingdom come in our lives and in the lives of those we love. We trust in You, Lord, for You are faithful, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23 WEB). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been sitting with your prayer and it stirs us. There’s no striving here, just a soul that genuinely longs to walk closely with Jesus through every season. That hunger for God’s voice, for His Word to take root, for trials to become soil for deeper worship, it’s the kind of prayer He loves to answer.

We’re not just reading a request; we’re joining you in it. And we’re glad you mentioned your son, his mother, your pastors, and your whole circle, because that’s a beautiful picture of the family of faith holding on together. When the pressure is on, one of the simplest but most defiant acts of hope is to do what Paul and Silas did, sing. Not just alone in your head, but out loud with someone else, maybe even your son or a trusted friend. Let a hymn or a worship song be the thing that sets your gaze above the circumstance that’s weighing on you. It’s a small, concrete step that anchors the heart in God’s faithfulness when feelings are all over the place.

You also mentioned fasting. That can be a gift, but we’d gently encourage you to walk into it with wise accountability, letting a doctor know, and having a friend who knows what you’re doing. That way it stays a healthy act of worship and not a strain.

We pray now with you, not for you alone. Father, thank you for the genuine faith behind these words. In the middle of hard things, give a steady sense of your nearness, not just the thought of it, but the felt reality. Guard this son, his mother, and every relationship named here. Let them be a little community that worships when it’s costly, that hears your voice clearly, and that tastes the joy you promise even in the fire. Keep lies and deception far, and plant deep courage. We ask in Jesus’ name.

Your prayer has risen like incense before the throne, and it is clear that the Spirit of grace has taught you to plead the promises with a holy boldness. You have laid hold of the very heart of the gospel: that our trials are not tokens of divine forgetfulness, but the furnace in which faith is refined and the Kingdom advanced. Count it all joy, then, when you fall into divers trials, not because the trial itself is sweet, but because the end thereof is the peaceable fruit of righteousness. The life imparted at regeneration is an incorruptible seed, and He that began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ. Therefore, the righteous shall hold on his way, and he that has clean hands shall wax stronger and stronger.

You speak of hearing the Shepherd’s voice, and indeed, His sheep hear it and follow Him into green pastures and through the valley of the shadow alike. The very longing to obey, even when it costs you something, is a sweet echo of that new nature. And in the dark paths, when His countenance seems withdrawn, go to the mercy seat and to the Word; there you will find, as others have, that the quiet waiting upon God brings a clearer sight of His faithfulness. He gives grace sufficient, and His strength is perfected in weakness. The trial that seems to hinder the gospel may well be the very instrument by which it spreads; think of the apostles in the Philippian jail, their songs in the night shook the prison doors and loosed the captive’s fetters. So shall it be with you: your patient endurance will be a living epistle, known and read of all men.

As for the protection and leading for your son, for all your household and partners in the gospel, rest in the covenant. God’s purpose secures their final perseverance, and He has given His angels charge concerning them. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance. He will not forsake the work of His own hands. You have cried for holiness, for victory over the evil one, for fasting and spiritual warfare; all these are honourable desires. Yet remember, the battle is the Lord’s, and the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God. Every lust put to death, every stronghold crumbled, is a foretaste of the new creation wherein dwelleth righteousness. The overcomer inherits all things, and the promise stands sure: “They shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

If ever a cloud of despondency gathers, or the enemy whispers that hope is lost, look away from yourself to Christ, for in yourself there is no hope, but in Him there is hope for the vilest. The life of your hand will weary you, but the life hid with Christ in God is eternal joy. You have pleaded the promises with a full heart; now go your way and let praise mingle with your prayers, for He hearkens. So shall your peace flow like a river, and your righteousness as the waves of the sea. Farewell; hold fast that which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. The Lord Himself is thy keeper; He is thy shade upon thy right hand.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have poured out your soul in many words, but the heart of your prayer is a fragrance pleasing to God. You ask that trials not hinder but advance the Kingdom, and that you might rejoice in tribulation. This is no small request; you are seeking what the apostles themselves gloried in. When Paul was chained in Philippi, he and Silas sang hymns at midnight, and the prison shook. That same Spirit is yours, and the same voice of the Bridegroom still calls His bride to go forth to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach. Do not shrink from this. The cross that seems to work death in you is working life in others, just as the apostle said: "Death worketh in us, but life in you." Your afflictions are not fruitless; they water the seed of the word in those who see your steadfastness.

You long to hear the Shepherd's voice clearly. Good. But know that His voice is heard most distinctly when you stand in the fold of humility. Lowliness is not merely a gentle word; it is a battle against the swelling of pride that so quickly follows even our good deeds. Be lowly toward all, friend and foe alike. Let meekness and long-suffering be the garment you wear, for a quick temper can ruin the whole work. Press the Scriptures into your mind not as a task but as a delight. Write them on the tablet of your heart, so that when trials come, you will not be like a foolish builder but like one who has dug deep and founded his house upon the rock.

You ask for the grace to fast and to use spiritual weapons to loose bondages. This is well, but remember that the fast God chooses is not merely abstinence from bread. It is to let the oppressed go free and to break every yoke. And the strongest weapon you carry is love, that excellent husbandman which sits inwardly in the soul and does not suffer the thorns of anger or vainglory to spring up. Love your prayer partners, your pastors, your son and his mother with a love that is not puffed up, a love that counts their salvation as your own life. For a faithful teacher lives when his disciples stand fast in the Lord. Your perseverance will be a comfort and a crown to those who watch over your souls.

You pray for angelic protection. He will give His angels charge over you, but the greater safeguard is to be sanctified in the truth. Let nothing, not even the trials you now endure, cause you to step outside the camp of His commandments. Do not love the world’s ease, for true joy is not here. Mourn a little, and bear reproach with thanksgiving, choosing what is profitable above what is pleasant. The joy that is mingled with grief here will one day be pure beyond all reckoning. The labor is small and fleeting; the pleasure of the Kingdom is great and endless.

Go, then, and live what you have prayed. Sing when you are chained. Study when the darkness presses. Write and share the prayers that arise from a tested faith. If you do this, you will not merely endure trials, you will transform them into an altar of worship, and the Kingdom will advance through your very wounds. You who overcome shall inherit all things, for He who promised is faithful.
