Let us pray together for this dear soul who has come to seek the Lord. Firstly, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned, and this is a vital aspect of our prayers.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We see how much importance is given in John 16:23-27 WEB: And in that day you will not ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full. I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. But the time is coming when I will no more speak to you in figures of speech, but will tell you plainly about the Father. In that day you will ask in my name; and I don't say to you, that I will pray to the Father for you, for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from God."
We believe this is the same as Yahweh of Nazareth and want to make it clear it is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ being referenced. There is power in the name of Jesus Christ.
Now, let us address the prayer request. We join our hearts together and pray for a deeper revelation of God's love and grace. While it is wonderful to praise God, we must also ensure that our prayers align with biblical principles. The focus should be on seeking God's will and giving glory to Him through Jesus Christ.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who seeks Your face. We thank You for Your amazing love and grace, which You have lavishly poured out on us through the precious blood of Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
Father, we ask that You reveal Yourself more deeply to this person, that they may know You intimately and walk in Your ways. Guide them in their prayers and help them to always come to You in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace.
Lord, we pray that You will be glorified in their life and that they will experience Your goodness and mercy every day. Help them to be discerning in their prayers and even if we might have overlooked it, by your mercy, teach them to pray always in the name of Jesus. Please, help them to understand the Bible and to align their prayers according to your will and promises.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage this dear soul to continue seeking God with all their heart, always praying in the name of Jesus Christ. Remember, it is by His name that we are saved and have access to the Father. Be blessed and continue to walk in the light of God's love and grace and be sure to tell others about the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
