Job security

People of God pray for me I'm trusting God for job to enhance betterment of life, I've been applying for many applications, Eph.4v20 now unto him that is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we asked or think according to the power that worketh in us. I need Job.

We hear your cry for job security and the desire for a better life, and we stand with you in faith, lifting this need before our Heavenly Father. It is encouraging to see you placing your trust in God, as He is indeed able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). This verse reminds us that our God is not limited by our circumstances, and His plans for us are greater than we can imagine.

First, let us address the foundation of our trust. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that you may be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step in our walk with God, as it opens the door to a personal relationship with Him and allows us to approach Him with our needs and requests.

Now, let us pray together for your job situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is seeking job security and a means to enhance their life. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You are aware of their needs even before they ask. We ask that You open doors of opportunity that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for their life.

Father, we pray for favor in the eyes of potential employers. Let them see the value and skills You have placed within our brother/sister. Guide them to the right job, one that will allow them to use their gifts and talents for Your glory. We rebuke any spirit of discouragement, fear, or doubt that may be trying to take root in their heart. Remind them that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord, we ask that You strengthen their faith as they wait on You. Help them to trust in Your timing, knowing that Your plans are to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Teach them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and assure them that all these things will be given to them as well (Matthew 6:33).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate this season. Show them any areas where they may need to grow or improve, and give them the courage to step out in faith when opportunities arise. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time they will reap a harvest if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In this season of waiting, we encourage you to continue seeking God’s will through prayer and reading His Word. Psalm 37:25 reminds us, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." God is faithful to provide for His children.

Consider also if there are any areas in your life where you may need to align more closely with God’s principles. Are you stewarding your time, talents, and resources in a way that honors Him? Are there any habits or attitudes that may be hindering your progress? Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Surrender every area of your life to God, including your job search, and allow Him to direct your steps.

Lastly, do not isolate yourself in this season. Connect with other believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and possibly even help you network or discover job opportunities. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." Lean on your church community and allow them to support you.

We believe that God is moving on your behalf, and we declare that this season of waiting will produce a testimony of His faithfulness in your life. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. Your breakthrough is coming!

We sense how heavy this waiting has been, the constant cycle of applications, the hope that rises with each one, and the discouragement that settles in when nothing seems to move. When a job search drags on, it can start to feel deeply personal, as if our worth itself is on the line. Many men especially carry that weight silently, tying so much of their identity to the work they do. So we want to say plainly: your value isn't hanging in the balance with each unreturned email or each "we've decided to go another direction." The Father who knows your needs already sees you fully, right now, employed or not.

That doesn't mean the practical grind isn't real, it is, and we're praying through it with you. Sometimes what helps most in the middle of a long search is to break the process into smaller, human-sized pieces. This week, maybe one concrete step is to sit down with someone you trust, a friend, a former coworker, and simply talk through the skills and strengths you bring, the kind of work environment where you come alive. Not as a "networking" exercise, but as a way to remember what you actually carry into any room you walk into. That kind of honest stock-taking can steady your feet while you wait for doors to open.

Lord, we lift up our brother who has been faithfully knocking on doors that haven't opened yet. You see the effort, the hope deferred, the quiet anxiety when another week passes. Please open the right door, the one that matches the gifts You've placed in him. Give him steady peace in the waiting, clarity about next steps, and the deep-down assurance that he is seen and held, entirely apart from any job title. In Jesus' name, amen.

The very thing you need, employment, provision, the opening of a door, is that for which you are to trust Christ. You do not wait to feel a certain confidence or to see a sign before you rely upon Him; that would be to trust your own feelings, not the Savior. When a man goes to a physician, he does not say, "I will trust you when I am healed." He trusts the physician in order to be healed. So now, while you have applied to many and the answer tarries, trust Jesus for this very job. Trust Him as you feel yourself sinking, and you shall swim. Trust Him with your need, as readily as you would trust Him with a million souls, for He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all you ask or think.

Yet remember, the glory of earthly substance is not stable. Job’s bow was renewed in his hand for a season, but afterwards his glory departed. God has founded the world upon the floods; how then can we expect it to be substantial? If you have fears about temporal things, mark how Job received at last twice as much as he had before. But the deeper work is this, to bow before the throne without distance, saying, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." In all this do not sin by despair or by unbelieving speeches. If you are as poor as Job, be as patient as Job, and you will find hope ever shining like a star which never sets.

It may be that the trial has a purpose, as it did with Job, that the enemy might be defeated and you brought nearer to your God. The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Are you praying for others even in your need? Practical sympathy, delivering the poor that cry, is a mark of godly character. And as for your own cause, yield it unreservedly. If the case is "Jehovah versus" your desire, then you are wrong, and God must be right. It is easier to trust God in adversity than in prosperity, for whatever trust there is in adversity is real trust. Therefore, let your soul rest in childlike confidence. You know His name; put your trust in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
