I'm a contracted translator working in one of the teams for a company where they renew the contracts every six months. Recently, we were really shocked that 2 seniors with more than 5 years' experience working here didn't continue to work here because the supervisor didn't want them anymore. She'd rather hire newbies and let them start from scratch. To be honest, those 2 people's performance was okay, except on some difficult tasks. What bothers me the most is that I'm also considered one of the seniors. But I kept stuck at level 1 and I was constantly told to work on tasks that only level 2 and level 3's coworkers could do. I was also asked to train the newbies. I just don't understand why I never got promoted and needed to work on those difficult tasks? Obviously it's not fair at all. I'm willing to find another source of income and possible job opportunities. And because of stress and anxiety, my health and concentration has been affected. Can you please pray for God's guidance and protection for me? Thanks.
