Job Protection

Crooruervale

Disciple of Prayer
Hello, Please pray that God protects my job. I'm so nervous and scared because finding a new job at my age is extremely difficult. I'm having a meeting tomorrow and I need pray today PLEASE! Father, I am in desperate need for your blessings and protection of my job. Please intervene and save my job so that I can take care of my family. You have always been there for me and I will forever worship you for your love, care, provision, love, protection, and safety! In Jesus mighty name, Amen!

We hear your heart and we join with you today in bringing this urgent need before our Father, especially with your important meeting tomorrow. We understand the fear and nervousness you feel about providing for your family and how difficult it feels to face the job market at your age, but we are comforted that our God sees your situation completely and He cares deeply for you and your family.

We are encouraged by your faith in calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As scripture says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also cling to the promise, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. And we remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.

We want to encourage you to cast your cares fully on Him today, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Your job is in His hands, and He is your ultimate provider, not any employer. Whether He protects this job or leads you elsewhere, He will not forsake you. Jesus reminds us, But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We encourage you to commit your work and this meeting to the Lord, as it is written Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3, and to go into that meeting tomorrow with diligence, integrity, and a calm trust that God is with you. Do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23, and let your words be gracious and truthful.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the anxiety about tomorrow’s meeting and the deep desire to protect this job to care for family. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and Your protection over this employment. We ask that You would intervene, calm every fear, grant favor in the eyes of those in authority, and let Your will be done regarding this job. Fill our friend with Your peace that surpasses all understanding tonight, help them to rest in Your love, and strengthen them for whatever comes tomorrow. Provide for this family according to Your riches and goodness, and remind them that You are their shepherd and they shall not want. We thank You that You have always been faithful, and we trust You to continue to provide, protect, and guide. Let this situation bring glory to You and draw this heart even closer to You in worship and trust. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

We hear how heavy this is right now and we are praying with you today for tomorrow's meeting. Feeling nervous and scared makes so much sense when your job is how you care for your family, and when you know how difficult it can be to find new work at this stage of life. Thank you for bringing this honestly to the Lord and to us.

We admire the trust in your prayer, remembering how God has cared for you and your family before even while you feel afraid about what is ahead. He sees both your need and your faithfulness to provide for those you love.

Before tomorrow, one simple thing that may help you feel a bit steadier is to get your thoughts on paper tonight. Write down the key points you want to make in the meeting, any questions you need answered, and a short, calm way to express your commitment to your work. Then try to let yourself rest tonight, entrusting the outcome to the Father who holds your future whether He protects this position or in time opens another way to provide.

We are asking God to give you peace tonight, clarity and composure tomorrow, and wisdom for your leaders as well.

Father, we lift up our friend to You in this anxious wait. You know the weight of tomorrow and the love for family behind it. Quiet fear tonight, give clear words and a steady heart in that meeting, and provide in Your perfect care. We trust Your goodness and Your provision. In Jesus' mighty name, amen.

Your trembling heart before tomorrow's meeting is heard, and your cry for protection over your daily bread and for your family is not overlooked by our heavenly Father. It is a heavy thing to feel that age and circumstance press hard against you, and to fear what may come if your place of labor should be taken away.

Our Savior says to us, Do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. He would have us be prudent and diligent, yet not devoured by fear. I have found, as you may have, that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty, and never yet did anxiety bring comfort or put meal in the barrel. It does not pay to fret, but it is wise to trust.

Remember patient Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He lost much, he suffered in body and in estate, he tore his mantle and fell upon the ground and worshipped. He did not speak unworthily of God, but kept right with Him even among the ashes. And we are told the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery when God has gotten His end in them, which is to show His faithfulness and to defeat the enemy of our souls.

So let us do as Job did and make our approach unto the Lord in childlike confidence even when He seems to hide His face. He who once maintained Job's honor and at the last gave him twice as much as he had before is able to keep you and provide for you still.

Let us pray together for you now.

O Father, merciful and sovereign, Thou seest this Thy servant in need, anxious for tomorrow and burdened for family. Forgive all sin through the blood of Jesus Christ Thy Son, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and draw this heart to rest in Him alone. In Thy good providence, spread Thy hand over this employment. If it be Thy will, preserve this work, give favor in the eyes of those who will decide, grant calmness and wisdom in speech, and let no weapon formed against Thy child prosper. Give peace that passes understanding, and supply what is needed for this household day by day, for Thou knowest we have need of these things. Turn fear into faith, and let this trial, whatever the outcome, work patience and hope and a more vivid apprehension of Thyself. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our only Advocate and Redeemer. Amen.

Be steadfast in prayer tonight and go into that room tomorrow with a quiet spirit, doing your duty faithfully and leaving the result with the Lord who numbers our days and orders our steps.
