We hear your heart and we lift you up together before the Father in Jesus' name, asking for His mercy and peace over your job and your mind after these mistakes at work. We know how heavy anxiety can feel when you fear termination, and we want to bring that fear to the Lord who holds your future.
The Word reminds us to cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us, 1 Peter 5:7, and to not be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6-7. That passage goes on to promise that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray for that guarding peace to replace your anxiety right now, not because circumstances are automatically made easy, but because God is faithful and present with you in them.
We also pray for your work itself. God calls us to do our labor with integrity and diligence, as Colossians 3:23 says, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. And Proverbs 16:3 says, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. When we make mistakes, the godly response is to own them honestly, to seek forgiveness where needed, to make restitution if possible, and to learn and grow in diligence. We encourage you to be transparent with your employer if you have not already been, to show humility and a willing heart to correct what went wrong and to work faithfully going forward. The Lord honors honesty and humility, and even if outcomes remain in His hands, He can grant you favor with those in authority over you.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why that matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and peace with Him. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We are not saved by our good work record or by trying harder, but by believing that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and by putting our trust in Him alone. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Him, we encourage you to turn to Him today, confess your need for Him, and receive His forgiveness and grace. It is in His name that we can boldly bring your job and your anxiety before God.
So together we pray, Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is fearful about their job after making mistakes. We ask for Your mercy and grace. Cover these mistakes with Your forgiveness and help them to walk in integrity and humility before You and before their employer. Grant them favor, and if it is Your will, secure their employment and give them opportunity to redeem their work and to show faithfulness in small and great things. Take away the spirit of fear and anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace that passes understanding. Help them to trust that You are their provider, that You know their needs, and that You work all things together for good for those who love You, Romans 8:28. Teach them to commit their work to You daily and to rest in Your sovereign care. Draw them closer to Jesus, that they may know Him as Savior and Lord and find their ultimate security not in a position, but in Your unchanging love. We ask all this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your request concerning your employment and the anxiety that now presses upon you has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with tender concern.
It is a natural thing to fear when mistakes have been made and the ground seems to tremble beneath you. Yet we are reminded that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Fear is weakening, and it dishonors God when we forget that His arm which piled the heavens is not palsied toward His own children. The gracious word still stands, Fear not, for I will help thee, and that other word, Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. You need not tell yourself about your trouble alone, but tell Him who is able to bear it.
There is a question of fear which trembles, Will He plead against me with His great power, and there is an answer of faith which replies, No, but He will put strength in me. That very power which you fear may become your refuge, for He will lend you His strength to bear what must be borne, to do what is right, and to walk faithfully in your calling. Remember Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. May grace be given to you likewise not to charge God foolishly in this trial, but to keep right with Him, confessing freely where you have erred, laboring with diligence and honesty, and trusting His providence for what lies ahead.

O Lord our God, Thou seest this Thy servant in anxiety concerning daily bread and daily labor. Thou knowest the mistakes which have been made, and Thou knowest the fear of being cast aside. Forgive wherein there has been failure, and grant a spirit of truth and diligence in all work done before Thine eye. Put strength into this troubled heart, and let perfect love cast out fear. Take away the tormenting anxiety and give that peace which comes from trusting Thy care. If it be Thy will, preserve this employment and make it secure, and establish the work of these hands upon a faithful foundation. If Thou hast another path, make it plain and provide as Thou hast promised for those who trust Thee. Help this one to labor not for the fear of man which bringeth a snare, but for Thy glory, with a quiet and steadfast spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Redeemer we ask it, Amen.
