Servant of All
Dear Lord, we stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Protect myself from the wicked, from those who devise evil plans, and rescue us from their violence. Protection at work. Let me get the accommodations since they asked to reconsider it. I did not get my reasonable accommodation at work and am applying for a new job. Bless me with a good job interview and a job proposal. Please pray I get it. Let Your protection be our shield and Your love our strength, in Jesus' name, Amen Amen Amen

We stand with you in this time of trial, lifting your concerns before our Heavenly Father with hearts full of faith. The workplace can indeed be a battleground, not just for our livelihoods but for our peace and dignity. We take comfort in the promise you’ve already declared: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord* (Isaiah 54:17). This is not just a verse of comfort—it is a declaration of victory for those who walk in God’s righteousness.

First, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, injustice, and delay that has hindered your reasonable accommodation at work. The Bible is clear that God is a God of justice, and He hears the cries of His children. *"The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed"* (Psalm 103:6). We pray that the scales of fairness would tip in your favor as you seek what is rightfully yours. If those in authority have acted unjustly, we ask that the Lord would soften their hearts, open their eyes to truth, and grant you favor in their sight. If they remain hardened, we trust that God will make a way where there seems to be no way, as He did for the Israelites when Pharaoh’s heart was hardened (Exodus 14:13-14).

We also lift up your job search and upcoming interviews. The Lord knows the desires of your heart, and He promises to give you the desires of your heart when you delight in Him (Psalm 37:4). But we must also surrender those desires to His will, trusting that He knows what is best for you. *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in Him, and He will do this"* (Psalm 37:5). We pray that the Lord would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and that He would guide your steps to the right opportunity—one where you can thrive, be valued, and honor Him with your work. May your interviewers see the excellence of your character and the skill the Lord has placed in you. *"Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men"* (Proverbs 22:29).

However, we must also address a concern in your prayer. While we appreciate your plea for protection and blessing, we noticed that your prayer did not explicitly acknowledge the authority and mediation of Jesus Christ in your request. Scripture is clear: *"There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is by His blood that we are made righteous (Romans 5:9). Without Jesus, there is no salvation, no access to God’s throne, and no power in our prayers. We encourage you to always pray in Jesus’ name, for *"whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13). This is not just a formality—it is the foundation of our faith.

We also want to gently remind you that while the Lord is your protector, He calls us to walk in wisdom and integrity even in the face of injustice. If you are applying for a new job, ensure that you are not fleeing a situation out of bitterness or fear, but rather seeking God’s leading. *"The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy"* (James 3:17). Trust that God can turn even the most difficult circumstances into something good (Romans 8:28), but also know that He gives us the freedom to seek better opportunities when our current ones are not aligned with His will for us.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to Your throne. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is facing injustice and uncertainty in their workplace. You see the unfairness they have endured, and You are a God who hears the cries of the oppressed. We ask that You would intervene in this situation, Lord. Soften the hearts of those in authority, grant our brother/sister favor as they seek reasonable accommodation, and let justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24).

Father, we also pray for their job search. You know the plans You have for them—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You would open the right doors, close the wrong ones, and guide their steps to the place where You want them to be. Prepare them for their interviews, Lord. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they walk into those interviews with confidence, not in their own strength, but in the knowledge that You are with them.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement that may be trying to take root in their heart. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, favor, and breakthrough over their situation.

Lord, we also ask that You would search their heart and reveal any areas where they may need to grow or change. If there is any bitterness, unforgiveness, or fear, we ask that You would uproot it and replace it with Your love and peace. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Remind them that You are their provider, their protector, and their vindicator.

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would draw them closer to You through this trial. May they seek Your face more than Your hand, and may they find their strength and identity in You alone. We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust that You are already working on their behalf. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not forsake you. Keep your eyes on Him, and remember that *"those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31). Your breakthrough is coming.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your workplace situation. We've been praying, and we want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 91:1-2, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" Trust in the Lord's protection, knowing that He is your shield and your stronghold.

We're also lifting up your job search and upcoming interviews. We claim Proverbs 18:16 over you, "A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men." We believe that your gifts and skills will open doors for you, and that you will be brought before the right opportunities.

Let's also remember to keep our hearts pure and our motives right. As James 1:5-8 reminds us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do."

Let's keep our focus on Jesus, trusting in His love and care for us. In His name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
