I’m asking for prayers for a job opportunity that could truly change so much for me and my children. I’m praying that God opens this door for me if it is His will, and that I receive that email telling me I got the job. I know Jesus already knows what is on my heart and what my family needs, even before I say a word. Things have been incredibly difficult financially, and there have been nights when I’ve cried myself to sleep wondering how I’m going to provide the next meal, pay a bill, or get my children the clothes and things they need. As their mother, all I want is to be able to take care of them, give them stability, and know that when they tell me they’re hungry, I can feed them. My children will always come first. This job would give me an opportunity to become more financially independent and stable, pay down bills, provide for my babies, and begin building a better situation for us. I know there are so many people struggling and carrying burdens of their own, and I pray for them too. But right now, I’m asking God to hear this mama’s heart. Jesus, please walk beside me through this. Give me strength while I wait and peace when my mind starts worrying about everything that could go wrong. And Lord, if this opportunity is part of Your plan for me, please open that door. I’m putting it into God’s hands and trusting that He knows exactly what my children and I need. Please keep me and my babies in your prayers.

We hear the cry of your heart as a mother and we join with you in bringing this job opportunity before the Lord together in Jesus' name. Your love for your children and your desire to provide stability and care for them is beautiful and reflects the heart of God who cares deeply for you and for your babies. We know how heavy the burden has felt, those sleepless nights wondering how to meet the next need, and we thank you for putting this into God's hands and trusting His will.

We are reminded of His faithful promises to provide for those who seek Him. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Matthew 6:31-33 says Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, What will we eat?, What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. He sees every tear you have cried and He collects them, for Psalm 56:8 tells us you keep track of all our sorrows and have collected all our tears in your bottle. You are not forgotten.

We also hear your prayer for peace while you wait, and we cling to Philippians 4:6-7 which says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble as Psalm 46:1 says, and He will walk beside you through this waiting.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, lifting up this dear mother and her children to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the financial struggles she has faced, the nights of weeping, the longing to feed and clothe her babies and give them security. You know the details of this job opportunity even better than we do. We ask that if this door is Your will for her and her family, that You would open it wide and let no man shut it, and that she would receive that email with good news. If this is not the door You have for her, we ask that You would clearly close it and lead her to the opportunity You have prepared, for Your plans are good. Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Give her Your peace that surpasses understanding while she waits, guard her mind from worry, and give her strength for each day. Provide for every need of this family according to Your riches in glory, and let her children see Your faithful hand providing. Help her to rest in Your care and to keep seeking Your Kingdom first, trusting that You will add all that she needs. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust Him day by day, to keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, and to be diligent in the practical steps before you while you wait. God honors the work of our hands and the faithful stewardship of what He provides. Even now He is working for your good, whether through this job or another provision He has already prepared. Keep casting your cares on Him, for He loves you and your children more deeply than you can imagine, and He will not abandon you. We continue to keep you and your babies in our prayers for provision, stability, and abiding peace.

While you wait, one small step that has helped others is to gather a clear picture of the most pressing bills and deadlines in one place, and if possible, sit down with a trusted person at your church or a local community agency who can help you think through budgeting and resources. Many churches and community groups offer free financial counseling or temporary assistance, and having another set of eyes can ease some of the mental load while you continue to trust God for direction. It does not replace prayer, but it can be a practical companion to it.

We are praying for you and your little ones in these days of waiting, for peace when worry rises and for wisdom for whatever door God opens next.

Father, we lift this mom and her children to You in Jesus name. You see her love for her family and the weight she carries. Give her Your peace as she waits, provide for their daily needs, and guide her steps with wisdom. If this job is Your best for them, open the door, and if not, lead her to what You have prepared. Your cry as a mother has been heard and laid before the throne of grace, and we join you in prayer for this need.

We are moved by the weight you carry, the nights of tears, the anxious thoughts for your children, the longing to provide bread and clothing and stability for those precious little ones entrusted to your care. The Lord sees these tears. He knows what you need before you ask, and He regards the prayer of a mother's heart that seeks His will above all.

You do well to put this matter into God's hands and to say, if it be His will, let the door be opened. That is the posture of Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. When all was taken, Job arose and worshipped. He did not speak in an unworthy manner against the Lord, but bowed in childlike confidence even when the Lord seemed to frown. So we pray that you may be kept in that same patient trust, not sinning with unbelieving speeches, but worshipping even in waiting.

Remember also that the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery. The night shall not hang its darkness forever over the soul. God had His purpose in Job's trial, to defeat the enemy and to show His own faithfulness, and at the last Job received more than he had lost. So we pray that whether by this job or by another way of His choosing, the Lord will show Himself faithful to you, for He is the Father of the fatherless and the Defender of those who trust in Him.

We pray now for you and your children.

O Lord our God, who hears the cry of the needy and numbers the tears of Thy people, look in mercy upon this mother and her children. Thou knowest her wants, her bills, her hunger, her fears for the morrow. Give her strength while she waits and peace when her mind is troubled. If this employment be according to Thy good and perfect will, open the door that no man can shut, and let that email come as a token of Thy provision. If it be not Thy will, close it gently and lead her to that which Thou hast prepared, for Thou knowest how to give good gifts to Thy children. Provide daily bread, keep her little ones under Thy wing, and let her find her stability not in uncertain riches but upon the Rock of Ages. Keep her from despair, uphold her by Thy grace, and make her to know that salvation and hope are in Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have access to the Father. Let her glory be fresh in Thee, and anoint her with fresh oil for each new day. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask it, Amen.
