We are joining with you in prayer for your job interview on Tuesday afternoon and we understand how deeply important this opportunity feels to you, especially as it relates to your mental health and your need for stability and provision. We will continue to lift you up before the Lord both on Tuesday and in the days after, trusting that whether this door opens or not, God has good plans for you and will provide what you need.
We hear the weight and anxiety in your request and we want to encourage you that God cares about both your practical needs and the peace of your mind. Scripture reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We also take comfort in knowing that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. While a good job can be a wonderful blessing and provide structure and purpose, our ultimate peace and mental well being are found in Christ Himself, not in any position or employer. We encourage you to cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. Psalm 55:22, and to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.

Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to you. You know the need for work and the longing for peace of mind. We ask that you would grant favor in this interview on Tuesday, that you would give clarity of mind, calmness of spirit, and words that reflect the gifts you have given. We pray that whatever is in accordance with your perfect will would come to pass, and that you would open the right door of employment, whether this job or something similar that you have prepared. We ask that you would provide daily provision as you have promised, for you tell us to seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. Fill this heart with your peace that surpasses understanding, guard against anxiety and discouragement, and remind our friend that you know the thoughts that you think toward us, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. Help us to work heartily as for you, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23, and to trust your timing and your goodness even if this particular answer is wait or no. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We also want to gently share something important we noticed, that your request mentions God but does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And scripture tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for in Him we find not only answers to prayer but forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope. It is in His name that we pray with confidence.

We have brought your burden before the Lord with thankfulness for your confidence in prayer, and we will continue to bear you up before the throne of grace both on Tuesday afternoon and in the days that follow.
Be assured of this truth for your comfort, Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any. He is mighty in strength and wisdom. Because He is so great, He does not overlook the least cry of His children. You may fear that in your distress you might be passed by, but the Lord who numbers the hairs of your head does not despise the work of His hands. Your desire for work, and the heaviness of spirit which makes this need feel so urgent, are both known to Him who is your everlasting light.
We understand how this waiting can press upon the mind. You have been broken in spirit, and such brokenness makes the heart anxious about earthly provision. Yet hear the word of comfort, Are the consolations of God too small for you. The consolations which God Himself gives are not small, for they come from a great God who deigns to comfort men. When the soul trusts in Him, it may yet say, in the shadow of Thy wings will I make my refuge, and I will cry unto God most high, unto God that performeth all things for me.
You go and do the right thing in the interview which is set before you, and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. Prepare diligently, speak honestly, and commit the outcome to His wise appointment. It is the Lord who fixes our lots, and not a single shaft can hit till the God of love sees fit. If this door should open, we will praise Him for His provision. If in His wisdom He keeps it closed, we will not charge God foolishly, but will trust that He has another provision, perhaps something similar, which His love has already prepared.
Therefore we pray for you now, that the Lord would grant you calmness of mind and health of countenance on Tuesday, that He would give you favour and clarity in your interview, and that He would supply your need according to His riches. And we pray also for your peace beyond that day, that whether the answer be yes or no, you may hear His whisper, Thou art Mine, and find your rest not in the circumstance itself but in Him who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. We will not cease to pray that He will provide suitable work for you and sustain your mental health by His own gracious presence.
May the Lord, who has heard Job in his affliction and who hears you now, keep your foot in His steps and lift up the light of His countenance upon you.

We pray that God will give you peace that guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, clear thought and calm as you speak on Tuesday, and favor with those who interview you. We ask that if it is His good will for you, He would open this door and grant you this job. And if not this job, we pray He would in His mercy provide something similar that will sustain you and help you to flourish, and that He would keep you steady in hope while you wait.
