We are joining you in prayer today for your job interview and we lift you up before our heavenly Father together in Jesus name.
We pray that the Lord will grant you peace, clarity of mind, and confidence as you speak, and that everything will go smoothly according to His perfect will. We ask God to give you favor with those who interview you and to let your words be seasoned with grace and truth. We pray not only for a smooth interview but for God's will to be done, whether this door opens or He leads you to another opportunity that is better for you.
We are encouraged by what Scripture says about work and trust in the Lord. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We commit this interview at the place you mentioned into the Lord's hands and we ask Him to prepare your heart to receive His answer with trust and thanksgiving.

Your request concerning the interview this day has been brought before the Lord, and we join our petitions with yours.
There is a word of rich comfort for such an hour as this, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." That perfect peace is not reserved for quiet seasons alone, but may be enjoyed even when thronging duties press, for to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. When the mind is stayed upon the Lord, He whispers peace within, even though care and responsibility surround you.
We are reminded that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Therefore cast your care upon Him who cares for you. Let not an anxious thought rob you of readiness and calmness of spirit. If you bear this burden with Him, you shall find that peace gleaming with a heavenly light even in the pressure of the hour.
Consider Job, who under great trial sinned not nor charged God foolishly, but fell down and worshipped. God was able to uphold him, and He is able to support you. Look to Him for that divine support, that you may go into this interview with a stayed mind and a quiet heart, speaking with clarity and truthfulness as before the Lord.
We pray for you now, that the Lord would grant you calmness of mind and clearness of thought, that He would order your words and steady your heart, and that all may go smoothly according to His wise and gracious will.
