We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up this important opportunity before Him. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust in Your provision for this family. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Lord, we ask that You open the door for this job opportunity and grant favor in the eyes of those conducting the interview.
We pray for wisdom and confidence as this dear one prepares to meet with the employer. May the words spoken be filled with grace, reflecting the light of Christ. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask that You guide every step and every word, aligning this opportunity with Your perfect will.
We also lift up the financial and emotional strain that comes with being out of work. Lord, comfort this family and remind them that You are their Provider. Psalm 37:25 says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." Strengthen their faith and fill them with peace as they wait on You.
We rebuke any fear, doubt, or anxiety that may try to creep in, declaring that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on the promise that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can come before You. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and we boldly ask for this provision in His mighty name. May this job not only meet their earthly needs but also bring glory to Your name, as this one seeks to honor You in all they do.
Lord, if this job is not Your will, we ask that You close the door gently and open another that is even better. We trust in Your timing and Your plan, knowing that You care deeply for this family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
