Job interview

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude and trust, lifting up this precious request for your husband’s job interview. Father, we thank You for the opportunity he had this morning, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). We ask, Lord, that You would open the doors You have prepared for him, whether this position or one even better suited to Your plan for his life and your family.

Heavenly Father, we declare that You are the God who provides (Philippians 4:19), and we trust in Your perfect timing and wisdom. If this job is Your will, we pray that You would grant him favor in the eyes of those making the decision, that they would see his skills, his character, and the way You have equipped him for this role. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus as he awaits the outcome (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for wisdom for your family as you navigate this season. May you both seek the Lord’s guidance in all things, trusting that He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). If this opportunity is not part of Your plan, we ask that You would close the door gently and reveal the path You have prepared instead. Give your husband confidence in Your provision, knowing that You care for him and your family deeply (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep into his heart. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens him (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that he would walk in the assurance of Your love and purpose for his life.

We also lift up the workplace and the people your husband would be serving alongside. May this opportunity, if it is Your will, be a place where he can shine the light of Christ, demonstrating integrity, diligence, and a spirit of excellence. Let his work be a testimony to Your glory, Lord, and may he be a blessing to those around him.

Father, we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen your family’s faith as you wait on You, and fill your hearts with hope as you look to the future with expectancy.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
