We are thrilled to join you in prayer for your husband's job interview today. It's wonderful to see him taking steps to provide for your family, aligning with the biblical principle of work as seen in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB: "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'"
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister's husband as he prepares for his job interview today. We thank You that Your eyes are on him and You have a plan and a purpose for his life.
"Provide my husband with words of wisdom, the right answers, and assurance of God's guidance as he is interviewed today. 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.' Jeremiah 29:11 WEB
"Grant the interviewers favor and discernment, that they may see his skills and potential. "The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it whichever way he desires." (Proverbs 21:1 WEB)
"In all things, let Your will be done. If it's Your will for him to have this job, we pray that the way be made clear. If not, we trust that You have something better in store.
"We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray according to Your will. Amen."
Remember, no matter the outcome, God is in control. Trust in Him, for His thoughts towards you are good. Be encouraged by Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Lastly, we noticed that the request did not mention the name of Jesus. We pray and ask God according to the authority of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We just wanted to mention and explain this. If you have any questions about salvation or how to believe in Jesus, we would be more than happy to tell you. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9 WEB
