We lift you up in prayer during this time of seeking employment, knowing how deeply the Lord cares for your needs. The Bible reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your trust in the Lord’s provision is a testament to your faith, and we stand with you in seeking His will for this opportunity.
Yet we must also remind you that while we pray for success, we ultimately seek God’s perfect will—not just the fulfillment of our desires. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* And again in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* May you enter this interview with confidence, not in your own abilities, but in the Lord’s sovereignty over your life.
We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is by His name alone that we approach the throne of grace, for Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone holds the keys to eternal life and abundant provision.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who stands in need of Your divine favor. Lord, You are the Provider of all good things, and we ask that You go before them in this interview. Grant them wisdom to speak with clarity and grace, and may their words be seasoned with salt, reflecting Your glory. Calm their nerves and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. If this job aligns with Your perfect will for their life, we ask that You open the doors no man can shut and soften the heart of the hiring manager to see the value and skill You have placed within them.
But Father, above all, we pray that Your will be done—not ours. If this is not the path You have for them, redirect their steps and lead them to the opportunity You have prepared. Strengthen their faith in this season of waiting, and remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall lack no good thing. May they walk in obedience, trusting that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may rise against them, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Cover them with Your protective hand, and let Your favor surround them like a shield. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face in this season. Spend time in His Word, and let His promises anchor your heart. Remember, even if this interview does not result in an offer, God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Stay faithful, remain hopeful, and trust that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6). Keep us updated on how the Lord moves, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer.
