We join with you in prayer, lifting up your job interview before the throne of grace, where our Lord hears the cries of His children. Your faith in His promises is commendable, and we stand with you in declaring that He is faithful to open doors no man can shut. The scriptures remind us, *"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11). We believe God has a purpose for your employment, one that will not only provide for your needs but also position you to be a light in your workplace.
Father, we ask that You go before this dear one into their interview. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind as they prepare and present themselves (Philippians 4:7). Grant them clarity of thought, wisdom in their responses, and favor in the eyes of those who will make the decision. May they reflect the confidence that comes from knowing You are their provider, as Your Word declares, *"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19).
We also pray for humility and integrity in this process. Let them seek not just any job, but the one You have prepared for them, where they can serve You wholeheartedly. Remind them that their worth is not found in their employment status but in their identity as Your beloved child. If there has been any anxiety or fear, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, for *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, if there are any hindrances—whether spiritual, emotional, or practical—we ask that You remove them. Break every chain of delay, rejection, or limitation that has tried to hold them back. Let this be the season where Your promises over their life manifest in tangible ways. We declare that the work of their hands is established, as Psalm 90:17 says, *"Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands."*
We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will in this process. Trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), even if the outcome isn’t what you expect. If this opportunity is not the one God has for you, we pray for the faith to accept His "no" as part of His greater plan. Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that He is your ultimate provider.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May this dear one walk into their interview with the assurance that You are with them, and may they experience Your favor in ways they never imagined. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the one through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.
