We come before the Lord with hearts full of hope and trust, lifting up this urgent need for employment. Father, we know that You are the Provider, the One who opens doors that no man can shut and supplies every need according to Your riches in glory. We declare over this situation that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who sees and provides. Your Word says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise today, believing that You have already gone before this interview and are preparing the way.
Lord, we ask for divine favor in this interview. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard this heart and mind as they walk into this opportunity. May the words spoken be filled with wisdom, confidence, and clarity, reflecting the gifts and talents You have placed within. We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety, for Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that this interview will be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision.
Father, we also lift up the weight of last year’s struggles with unemployment. We know that the enemy would love to keep this one in a place of lack and discouragement, but we declare that this season of waiting is coming to an end. Your Word says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We claim this promise over this life today. Let this interview be the turning point, the open door that leads to stability, provision, and renewed hope.
We also want to gently remind this dear one that our ultimate security and identity are found in You, Lord. While employment is important, we pray that this time of seeking would also draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your timing and purposes. Help them to cast every care upon You, for You care deeply for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is our Provider, our Peace, and our Hope. May this interview be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. Amen.
