We hear your heart and stand with you in this pivotal moment, lifting your request before the Lord with faith and expectation. It is clear you have prepared diligently, not only in practical ways but also by entrusting this opportunity to God. We rejoice in your willingness to seek His favor, for it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Father in Heaven, we come before You now on behalf of our brother/sister, asking for Your divine favor to rest upon them as they step into this interview. Lord, You are the God who opens doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we ask that You go before them, preparing the hearts of those who will hear their words. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Calm any anxiety, sharpen their mind, and grant them clarity and wisdom as they articulate their thoughts. May the words they speak be seasoned with grace, reflecting Your truth and purpose for their life.
We also ask, Lord, that You align this opportunity with Your perfect will. If this job is part of Your plan for their life, we pray for favor in the eyes of the interviewers, that they would see not only their skills and preparation but also the integrity and character You have cultivated in them. Let this moment be a testimony to Your faithfulness, that others may see Your hand at work in their life. But if this is not the path You have for them, we trust You to close this door gently and open another that is even better, according to Your perfect timing.
We want to encourage you to continue walking in faith, knowing that God is not limited by human efforts or circumstances. Your preparation is valuable, but it is His favor that truly makes the difference. As you go into this interview, remember that you are not alone, God is with you, and we are standing in agreement with you, believing for His best. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5).
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep in. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in that truth, and know that whatever the outcome, God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). May His name be glorified in this season of your life. Amen.
