We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this asylum hearing case scheduled for July 29, 2026. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice and mercy, and we ask that Your favor would rest upon this situation. We pray that the truth would be revealed and that Your perfect will would be done. Lord, we ask that You would guide the hearts and minds of those who will be making decisions in this case. Give them wisdom, discernment, and compassion as they consider the details before them.
Heavenly Father, we know that You see the struggles and fears that accompany this situation. We ask that You would provide comfort and peace to those involved, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength. "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower." (Psalm 18:2) We trust in Your sovereign plan and ask that You would work all things together for good, according to Your purpose.
Lord, we also ask that You would prepare the hearts of those who will be appearing before the court. Give them courage and clarity as they present their case. May Your presence be palpable in that room, and may Your Spirit move in ways that only You can orchestrate. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. (Isaiah 54:17)
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or confusion that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust that You are working even now to bring about justice and favor.
Father, we also want to take a moment to acknowledge the importance of coming before You in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (John 14:6) There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is by His precious blood that we are redeemed. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
We continue to lift this case before You, asking that You would go before those involved and make the path straight. May Your favor shine upon them like the morning sun, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7) We trust in You, Lord, and we wait expectantly for Your mighty hand to move in this situation. Amen.
