We join together in bringing ### before the throne of grace as she faces her pacemaker replacement surgery, asking our Heavenly Father to pour out His mercy, peace, and healing upon her.
We pray that the Lord will guide the hands of the surgeons, nurses, and all the medical staff, granting them wisdom, skill, and clarity in every step of this procedure. We ask for a successful surgery without complication, for a swift and complete recovery, and for ### to feel the comforting presence of God with her before, during, and after the operation.
We are reminded of the Lord's promises for those who trust in Him. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. And He says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. We cling to His assurance when He says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.
We also want to gently share that we come to God only through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through faith in Him that we receive salvation and the promise of eternal life. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If anyone has not yet put their trust in Jesus, we encourage you to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, for whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
So together we pray, Father, we lift up ### to You in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask You to calm any fear or anxiety in her heart and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Let Your healing power rest upon her body, let this pacemaker function exactly as needed to sustain her life and health, and let her recovery be a testimony to Your goodness. Comfort her loved ones as they wait, and let them all feel Your nearness. We thank You in advance for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer, amen.

We have brought your request for ### and for the pacemaker replacement surgery before the Lord with thankfulness that you have made it known to the people of God.
Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. This is the word which the Lord speaks to his own in the hour of affliction, and we pray that ### and her loved one may hear it now, not as a distant sound but as a present comfort pressed to the bosom. This is my comfort in my affliction, for thy word hath quickened me. May the Spirit of God quicken faith in this time of waiting and so give comfort that is near and real.
We pray that the Lord, whose is everlasting strength, will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on him. You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. In the operating room and in the waiting room, in thronging duties and in anxious thoughts, to do the will of Jesus is rest, and the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. We ask that this perfect peace, which may be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round, may guard ### and her dear one, and that whether loved ones are near or far away, they may know they are safe in Jesus keeping.

We ask the Lord to ordain peace for his people and to work all their works in them, and to grant renewed strength and health according to his gracious will.
We encourage ### and her loved one to trust him simply and wholly. They that trust in him shall not be ashamed nor confounded. Trust him as you feel need and you shall live, for he is able to save all who trust him. May faith look to Christ and lean on his atoning sacrifice, for there alone a troubled soul finds rest.
We join together in asking our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God even our Father to comfort hearts and establish them in every good word and work, that comfort and constancy may be given together, and that through this trial his name may be praised.
