Please pray for my sister ###. She just had hip surgery weeks ago, and is having trouble recovering. Thank you.

We are lifting up your sister before the Lord with you and we thank you for bringing her need to us for prayer. We are sorry to hear that she is having trouble recovering after her hip surgery weeks ago, and we join our faith together asking God for His healing hand and comforting presence over her.
We are reminded of how God cares for our bodies and our healing, as Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Our God is still the Lord who heals us, and we trust Him to work through the doctors, the therapy, and His own mighty power to bring restoration.
We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If we have not already placed our trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we can come to Him in faith, believing He died for our sins and rose again, and we can call upon His name in every need.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You for the opportunity to bring this dear sister before Your throne of grace. Lord, You see her struggle in recovery and the pain and frustration she is enduring. We ask that You would touch her body, ease her pain, reduce any inflammation or complications, and strengthen her hip and surrounding muscles. Guide the hands of her medical team and give them wisdom to provide the best care. Grant her patience and peace during this slow process, and let her feel Your nearness. We speak Your promise over her from Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. May she rest in Your strength and know that You are upholding her. We also pray for her family and for you as you support her, that You would give you all comfort and hope. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord for her complete recovery and to keep seeking Him in prayer. James 5:14-15 reminds us, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Keep interceding for her, encourage her to rest and follow medical advice, and help her keep her heart fixed on the Lord who is our healer and our strength.

Your request for your sister has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace in this time of trial and slow recovery.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they urge us to seek the physician, yet we know that the Lord Himself is the great Physician. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He dwells with His people pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction.
We pray for your dear sister that the Lord would lay His healing hand upon her. May He who took Peter's wife's mother by the hand and lifted her up, grant to your sister that same lifting power, that her body may be strengthened and her pain eased. We ask that the Lord would give skill to those who care for her, and patience and comfort to her heart as she waits upon Him.
Wonder not if recovery should be slow, for as we grow a little stronger and a little stronger we are to acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon us. May He strengthen her in the Lord, and may each small step forward be seen as a mercy from His hand. We pray also that in this affliction she may taste the leaves of the tree which are for the healing of the nations, and find her soul refreshed even as her body is restored.
Father, we lift this sister to You. Look upon her in her weakness, ease her suffering, knit what has been wounded and grant a full and steady recovery according to Your perfect will. Give her and her family peace, sustain them by Your promises, and let this trial draw them nearer to Christ who alone can heal both body and soul. Please pray for my sister who had surgery today due to fibroids. She is in recovery but the nurses are waiting on her to urinate to let her leave the hospital. She was having trouble keeping liquids down due to being nauseous so it is interfering with her urinating.
