🙇🏻 Jesus, Shepherd Your Sheep🐑 Micah 5:4, John 10:16, Jn 21:16, 1 Pet 5:2-4, Rev 7:17; ⛓️💥 Remember those in Chains, Hebrews 13:3, Col 4:18 -- Lord Jesus, thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice, Jn 10:27, but that You lead them out, and we don't listen to others, John 10:3-4, but only head Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for us, Ps 23:3 Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12.

🧎🏻Grant relief to the persecuted church like You did when the evil king began by laying hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them, had the Apostle James the brother of John the Beloved put to death with the sword, Acts 12:1-2, and give us testimonies like we have of the Apostle Peter's angelic release from prison in Acts 12:3-17 and the Apostles Paul and Silas' earthquake resulting in the conversion of the Philippian Jailer and his household in Acts 16:27-32. Hebrews 10:34. Help us sympathize with those in prison and joyfully accept the confiscation property, knowing that we ourselves have a better and permanent possession, Hebrews 10:34. Call and grant boldness give them visits, as Jesus said in Matthew 25:36, 'I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me.’

🙇🏻 Give grace to us all to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit 🍇 for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before You, Lord Jesus, the Good Shepherd, with hearts heavy for Your flock, both those who walk freely and those bound in chains for Your name’s sake. Your Word declares, "He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of Yahweh, in the majesty of the name of Yahweh his God" (Micah 5:4). We stand in agreement with this truth, asking You to shepherd Your people with Your rod and staff, comforting them in every valley (Psalm 23:4).

Father, we lift up the persecuted church, remembering those who suffer imprisonment, torture, and even death for the sake of the gospel. Your Word commands us, "Remember those who are in chains, as bound with them; and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body" (Hebrews 13:3). We ask for supernatural deliverance, as You released Peter from prison by an angel (Acts 12:7) and shook the foundations of the jail to free Paul and Silas (Acts 16:26). Yet even if deliverance does not come in this life, we pray for endurance, that their faith would remain unshaken, knowing their reward is great in heaven (Matthew 5:10-12). Strengthen them with the power of Your Holy Spirit, that they may rejoice even in suffering, as the early church did (Acts 5:41).

We also pray for those who visit and minister to the persecuted, grant them wisdom, boldness, and protection. May they be Your hands and feet, fulfilling Your command: "I was in prison, and you came to me" (Matthew 25:36). Let no fear or intimidation deter them from standing with their brothers and sisters in Christ.

Lord, we ask You to expose and rebuke the wolves in sheep’s clothing who seek to devour Your flock (Acts 20:29). Guard us against false teachings and deception, that we may hold fast to the truth of Your Word. Help us to be vigilant, studying Scripture so that we may rightly divide the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15) and contend for the faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3).

We confess our dependence on You, for apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Yet in You, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in love, discernment, and holiness. May our lives bear the fruit of righteousness, bringing glory and praise to Your name (Philippians 1:11).

Father, we pray for those who are weary and heavy-laden, that they would come to You and find rest (Matthew 11:28). Draw them by Your Spirit, that they may know the freedom and peace that comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not know You as Lord and Savior, we plead with them to repent and believe in Jesus, who died for their sins and rose again, that they may have eternal life (Romans 10:9-10).

Finally, Lord, we ask for grace to abide in You, to draw near to You so that You may draw near to us (James 4:8). Keep us from temptation and deliver us from the evil one (Matthew 6:13). May our love abound in knowledge and discernment, that we may approve what is excellent and be pure and blameless until the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-10).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls (1 Peter 2:25), who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We have been sitting with your prayer, and we want you to know we thank God for the way you carry these needs before Him. What we see here is not just a list -- it is a shepherd's heart poured out in love for the whole flock, near and far.

The weight you feel for the persecuted church and for our brothers and sisters in spiritual battles is real and heavy. We are grateful you are lifting it. One thing that may encourage you: sometimes we intercede best when we find just one or two brothers or sisters who will bear a specific burden with us regularly. It keeps us from growing weary alone and roots the prayer in shared faith. Is there someone in your own congregation or circle you trust who could join you in praying weekly for the persecuted, or for those facing direct spiritual opposition? Even a brief, focused time together can strengthen your own heart and sharpen the intercession.

We also noticed how your prayer turns toward deliverance and freedom -- for the bound to be set free by Jesus' simple word. That is the only way. We join you in asking Him to speak that word, and we trust He is faithful.

Let us pray: Lord Jesus, You are the Shepherd who never slumbers. We lift up every believer in chains -- physically imprisoned, inwardly tormented, or held in any darkness. Visit them tonight. Send Your angels, open doors, silence lies, and make Yourself real in their suffering. Give them the boldness that comes only from the Holy Spirit. Refresh the one who wrote this prayer, Lord. Guard their strength, renew their hope, and give them clear glimpses of the fruit of their faithful intercession. In Your mighty name, Jesus. Amen.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. You have laid hold upon that blessed word, and it is well. To say, "The Lord is my Shepherd," is to claim a confidence that shall never be disappointed, for He who has been our Shepherd in the past will be our Shepherd in the present and in the future. He will feed us, lead us, and keep us in all our ways. In the rough pathways and in the smooth, in the valleys of shadow and on the high hills, His angelic protection is afforded to those who walk in childlike trust, not leaning upon their own understanding, but waiting upon God for guidance. He has charged His angels in all our ways, pray for that keeping, for you shall need it perpetually.

When you cry for the persecuted church, you cry in good company. The history of God’s people is a history of deliverance from wicked foes. Israel was afflicted, but they were not forsaken. The Roman emperors did their worst and failed; the papal power sought to crush the truth, but the Church was preserved, yea, even by the fires of persecution she was made purer and holier. God knows how to save His people. What He has done, He can do again. Grant relief, Lord, as you did when Peter was freed by an angel, when Paul and Silas saw the jailer converted, not by might nor by power, but by Your Spirit. A little persecution would do this land no harm; it might fan a flame of zeal where now we have only warm, velvety ease. The church has made terms with the world, but those who are much tried are in the peerage of the Church; they are marked men and women.

Remember those in chains, for Christ has said, "I was in prison, and you visited Me." Let love abound, yet let it be tempered with knowledge and discernment, so that you may be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ. And if you are called to suffer reproach or loss, rejoice that you are counted worthy, for great is your reward in heaven. It is in such trials that Jesus draws doubly near to you. He is the Good Shepherd who gave His life for the sheep, the Great Shepherd brought again from the dead, and the Chief Shepherd who shall soon appear with the crown of glory that fades not away. But never forget the Shepherd bleeding and dying, the Abel-shepherd, whose blood speaks better things than that of Abel. There is your first and surest hope.

In the grand design of God, even angels learn the manifold wisdom of God through the church. How much more should we study it! Deliverance comes when the Lamb is slain; it is all of free grace. Those who have been brought out from the house of bondage can never dare to take an atom of the honor to themselves. It is He who brings us forth. So pray, trust, and love. Love your Shepherd with an intimate affection, and rest in His care. He will give His angels charge over you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. The Lord is your Shepherd; you shall not want.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for boldness and deliverance, and rightly you turn to the Lord who shepherds His sheep. But consider this: boldness is not merely a gift for times of ease, but is forged in tribulation. See the Apostle Paul, who in chains did not pray for release, but for a door to be opened for the word, that he might speak the mystery of Christ with all boldness. His bonds displayed him, not obscured him. How wonderful that the great athlete, bound in prison, exhorted others and sought yet greater boldness in speaking. So do not think affliction silences the faithful; it amplifies the voice when God opens the door.

Learn well what true boldness is. It is not the audacity of Shimei cursing David, nor the insolence of Jezebel mocking Jehu. That is mere unbridled tongue. But the boldness of Elijah confronting Ahab, "It is not I that trouble Israel, but thou and thy father's house", and of John the Baptist declaring to Herod, "It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife": this is courage born of righteousness. Such boldness springs often from poverty, not riches. For the poor man has nothing to lose, no lands or gold to be seized, and so stands strong and free. The rich man is dragged down by many ropes, an easy prey. So if you seek boldness, cling not to earthly things, but embrace the poverty of spirit that fears only God.

You plead for the persecuted church, remembering those in chains as Scripture commands. Pray indeed for their deliverance, but pray even more that they may have boldness in their bonds. The Lord may send an angel to release Peter, or an earthquake to free Paul and Silas. Yet the greater miracle is that in suffering they preached the gospel and won souls, as the jailer's household was saved. When you visit the prisoner, as Christ commends, do not merely console but exhort them to speak the mystery with all openness. For the blood of the martyrs is seed, and the church grows not despite persecutions but through them.

You are right to ask that we be kept from evil and the evil one, and that love may abound in knowledge. But know this: the Lord has set us as a city on a hill, which cannot be hid. Persecutions and plots will not silence the gospel. Rather, as He promised, the message will over-shine the whole world. Therefore, when you face trials, count it an opportunity for boldness. If you are delivered, praise Him; if you are not, trust that His grace is sufficient, and that your bonds will become a platform for His word. Do not seek to avoid suffering at the cost of speaking truth; rather, with all lowliness, ask God to open your mouth, that you may declare the mystery as you ought.

Let your prayer then be this: not only for relief, but for an entrance for the word and boldness in speaking. For in this the Shepherd cares for His sheep: He leads them through the valley of the shadow of death, and they fear no evil, for He is with them. His rod and staff comfort them, not by removing all danger, but by making them fearless in the midst of it. So take courage, you who are weary and heavy laden; His yoke is easy and His burden light. Abide in the vine, and you will bear much fruit, for apart from Him nothing is possible, but with Him all things.

Your prayer rises like incense before the throne, and I thank you for it. What a hunger you have for the Great Shepherd to lead, guard, and feed His sheep. The Scriptures you weave together are not just words, they are the very breath of the Spirit, and they echo the cry of every heart that knows how deeply the flock needs Jesus.

As I read your request, I kept returning to the book of Acts. There we see the church as God intended it: alive with power, ablaze with love, increasing daily as they lived in holy fear and genuine fellowship. The early believers did not strategize like the world or hire professionals to manufacture growth. They simply abided in the Vine, and the life of Jesus flowed through them. The power was not a one-time gift to launch the church into orbit, only to leave later generations weak and anemic. The fault for our weakness never lies with God. He has not changed.

What happened? The history of the church is often heartbreaking. Compromise crept in. Love grew cold. The simplicity of devotion to Christ was overshadowed by programs and systems that mimicked the surrounding culture. Yet even in the darkest periods, the Spirit has always had a remnant who refused to let go of the Head.

So when you pray for deliverance, for boldness, for the persecuted, and for every believer to draw near to the Lord, you are praying directly into the heart of what our Father longs to do. Persecution, strange as it sounds, has often been the very means by which the gospel spread like fire through dry stubble. The enemy meant it for evil, but God used it to scatter seed that brought a harvest in strange cities. He still does. The prisoners and the afflicted are not forgotten. Their chains are known in heaven, and visiting them, whether in person or through intercession, is ministering to Christ Himself.

I hear in your prayer a deep desire for the church to be what she is meant to be: a spotless bride, filled with the fruit of righteousness, loving one another with a pure heart fervently. That requires something we often resist. It means allowing the Spirit to purge out the leaven of hypocrisy and self-reliance. It means clinging to the boldness and access we have in Christ alone, not trusting in our own strength, but knowing that apart from Him we can do nothing.

So I encourage you: keep asking the Lord to shepherd His sheep. Ask Him to restore the power and purity of those early days, not by copying outward forms, but by filling us afresh with His love and with a holy reverence for His Word. Let love abound more and more, with all discernment. That is the path to being sincere and blameless until the day of Christ. And as you pray for the entire flock, do not lose sight of the Shepherd’s voice for yourself. He leads each lamb personally, and He will lead you.

The God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight.
