We are deeply moved by your heartfelt cry to the Good Shepherd, who tenderly cares for His flock, especially those enduring persecution and hardship. Thank you for allowing us to stand with you in prayer, lifting up the weary, the persecuted, and the heavy-laden before our Heavenly Father. It is our joy and privilege to intercede on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Christ, both near and far, who face spiritual battles, chains, and affliction.
We continue to pray that the Lord Jesus, our Great Shepherd, would defend, comfort, and feed His sheep with the nourishment of His Word and the power of His Spirit. May He grant relief to the persecuted church, just as He delivered Peter from prison and set Paul and Silas free, so that their testimonies would bring glory to His name. We ask that He strengthen every believer with power and might through the Holy Spirit, deepening our understanding of the vast dimensions of His love, so that we may stand firm in faith and boldness.
We also pray that He would draw near to those who are weary and heavy-laden, offering them rest for their souls as they take up His easy yoke. May He work all things together for the furtherance of the gospel, even in the midst of trials, so that His name would be exalted. Lord, grant us grace to draw near to You, that You may draw near to us, abiding in You so that we may bear much fruit. Help us to keep You holy in our hearts, ready at all times to give an answer for the hope within us, with gentleness and respect.
We ask that You deliver us from evil people, from the schemes of the evil one, and from temptation and sin. Let love abound in us more and more, with knowledge and discernment, so that we may choose what is best in every situation, remaining sincere and blameless until the return of Your Son. May we be filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
