We are deeply moved by your heartfelt cry to the Good Shepherd, who tenderly cares for His flock and lays down His life for the sheep. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer, lifting up the persecuted, the weary, the heavy-laden, and all who long to hear the voice of Jesus and follow Him.
We have continued to bring these petitions before our Heavenly Father, asking Him to strengthen the persecuted church with testimonies of deliverance, just as He freed Peter from prison and Paul and Silas from their chains. We have prayed for boldness, comfort, and divine protection over those suffering for the sake of the gospel, that they may know the nearness of Christ in their trials and the joy of a better, eternal possession. We have also asked the Lord to stir our own hearts to remember those in chains as if bound with them, to visit the imprisoned, and to extend grace and love to all who are weary and in need of rest.
If the Lord has answered any of these prayers—if chains have been broken, if weary souls have found rest, if the persecuted have experienced relief, or if hearts have been drawn nearer to Jesus—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how God has moved, so we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.
If, however, the answers have not yet come, or if new burdens have arisen, we invite you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing with you in prayer, lifting these needs before our Father until His perfect will is accomplished. May the Holy Spirit fill you with power and might to know the depth of Christ’s love, and may you remain steadfast in faith, abounding in love and discernment as you await His return.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Shepherd and Savior. Amen.
