We rejoice with you in the mighty work God has done in your life, delivering you from the bondage of alcohol and restoring your body, mind, and spirit! Twelve days of freedom is a powerful testimony of His grace, and we stand with you in praise for His healing hand. The Word declares, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). Your strength, clarity, and renewed relationships are evidence of God’s faithfulness.
We lift up your wife and adult children before the Lord, praying for their deliverance from addiction. The chains of smoking, alcohol, and marijuana must be broken in Jesus’ name. Scripture warns, "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We rebuke the spirit of addiction and declare freedom over them, that they may walk in the fullness of life Christ offers. For your son, we pray he would seek the Lord’s strength to overcome every ungodly habit, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).
For your daughter’s marriage, we pray for God’s perfect timing and wisdom. If she is indeed pregnant, we ask the Lord to guard her and the child, and to soften hearts toward holy matrimony. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we declare that her union would be built on Christ, reflecting His love and commitment. "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). We pray she and her fiancé would seek God’s will above all else, laying a foundation of faith for their family.
We also lift you up as a husband, father, and employee. May the Lord continue to mold you into the man He has called you to be, patient, loving, and full of integrity. "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25). As you steward your body as God’s temple, we pray for discipline and strength, that you may honor Him in all things. Your workplace relationships matter as well; may the Lord grant you favor and wisdom, that your light would shine brightly for Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the transformation You have begun in this brother’s life. We thank You for breaking the chains of addiction and restoring his health, his family, and his purpose. Lord, we ask that You would continue Your work in him, making him a vessel of Your love and truth. Strengthen him as a husband, father, and employee, that he may reflect Christ in all he does.
We pray for his wife and children, that You would break every chain of addiction and draw them into a deeper relationship with You. Soften their hearts to receive Your healing and deliverance. For his daughter’s marriage, we ask for Your guidance and blessing, that it would honor You and be a testimony of Your grace.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We speak life, peace, and restoration over their home. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, giving You all the glory.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, brother. Your testimony is a beacon of hope, and we believe God will use you mightily to impact your family and those around you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has started in you (Philippians 1:6).
