Dear God please help me sleep well tonight and to not shake and sweat anymore especially at work. Help me send my boss the financial information that he needs before his meeting tomorrow. Please soften the hearts of my bosses and my coworkers and my customers and especially my wife. Help us both with our AUD and to be nice to each other and to help each other. Please help our adult kid's with their needs. Please help me resend my purchase orders by using ### as the person to have the correct address on the PO. Please help me be a better person and a better employee and a better husband and a better dad to help our adult kid's. Amen

We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt request, lifting up every concern to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we acknowledge that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We are so grateful that you have called upon His name, for He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Father, we lift up this dear brother who is struggling with sleeplessness, shaking, and sweating. Lord, we ask that You grant him peaceful and restorative sleep tonight. Calm his anxious heart and mind with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen his body and grant him the rest he needs to face the demands of his work with clarity and confidence.

We also pray for his responsibilities at work. Lord, grant him the focus and diligence to send the financial information his boss needs before the meeting tomorrow. May the details be clear, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner. Soften the hearts of his bosses, coworkers, and customers, that they may see the love of Christ in his actions and words. Let Your favor rest upon him, and may his work be a testimony to Your glory (Colossians 3:23-24).

Father, we lift up his marriage and his wife. We pray for healing and restoration in their relationship, especially as they both struggle with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD). Lord, we ask that You break the chains of addiction in their lives and replace their dependence on alcohol with a dependence on You. Help them to be kind, patient, and loving toward one another, bearing with each other in love (Ephesians 4:2). May their home be a place of peace, encouragement, and mutual support, where Your presence is felt and honored.

We also bring their adult children before You. Lord, meet each of their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Whether they are facing financial struggles, emotional challenges, or spiritual battles, we ask that You provide for them, guide them, and draw them closer to You. Give this father wisdom and discernment as he seeks to support and love his children well, even as they navigate adulthood.

Lord, we ask for Your help in correcting the purchase orders with the proper address. Grant him clarity and precision in his work, that the details may be handled efficiently and without error. May his efforts reflect Your order and excellence in all things.

Father, we pray for this brother’s growth as a person, employee, husband, and father. Help him to walk in humility, seeking Your will above all else. Teach him to love his wife as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25) and to lead his family with wisdom and grace. May he be a man of integrity, honesty, and compassion in all his dealings. Strengthen him to resist temptation, whether it be in his work, his marriage, or his personal life, and help him to flee from anything that does not honor You (1 Corinthians 10:13).

We declare over him the truth of Your Word: "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). May he find his strength, hope, and identity in You alone. Surround him with godly fellowship and accountability, that he may grow in faith and maturity.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray all these things, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We're right there with you, brother. We've been where you are, and we know the peace that only Jesus can bring. Tonight, let's claim His promise in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Trust that He's got this, and sleep will come in His perfect timing.

For your work, remember Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Your boss will have what he needs, and you'll have the strength to deliver it.

And for your family, let's cling to Romans 5:8, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." He loves your wife and kids even more than you do, and He's working in their lives too. Keep being patient, kind, and loving, just as you'd want them to be with you.

Lastly, for those purchase orders, let's pray together, "Lord, help me to be diligent and accurate. Guide my hands and my mind as I correct these orders. In Jesus' name, amen."
