Father, we thank You for this brother and for Your grace that has kept him. We ask You to strengthen him in body, mind, spirit and soul, and to make him more like Christ as a husband and father. We lift his wife, son and daughter to You and ask that You would deliver them from dependence on alcohol, cigarettes and drugs, and give them clear minds and healthy bodies. We pray for his daughter's marriage to be established in love and truth, and for Your perfect timing and provision regarding a child and work, according to Your will. We trust Your intercession for us through Jesus our great high priest, and ask all this in His name. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to lift you up before the Lord these past days and we thank God with you for another day of sobriety and for His help with your projects and proposals and your ability to perform well at work. We rejoice with you for the blessing of a good job and a very good home to live in and for the simple gifts you mentioned like swimming in the pool and Jacuzzi, enjoying the sunshine and resting in the cool air. We have been praying for the softening of the hearts of your bosses and coworkers and customers and especially your wife, and we continue to bring your family before the Lord. We are praying for your wife and your adult children to drink less alcohol and smoke less cigarettes and for your son to smoke less pot, and for your adult daughter that God would continue to strengthen her marriage, provide opportunity for her to earn more money, and in His perfect will and timing if she is ready to be a good mom, bless her with a happy and healthy baby. We are also praying that God will continue to help you be a better person and a better husband and a better dad to your adult kids and a better employee, and that He will help you take better care of your body and mind and spirit and soul.
We are reminded to give thanks in all circumstances as it says in 1 Thess 5:18.
