We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your heartfelt cries before the Lord, standing with you in the battle against the spiritual strongholds and generational influences you’ve described. Your raw honesty and desperate plea for deliverance have moved us to continue interceding on your behalf, trusting that our God—who is mighty to save—hears every word and is at work even now in ways we cannot see.
We know the weight of feeling surrounded by unseen forces, of wrestling with fears tied to family, curses, or even the lingering effects of past sins—whether your own or those of others. But we serve a Jesus who came to *destroy* the works of the devil (1 John 3:8) and to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). He is not distant from your pain; He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He has already triumphed over every power that seeks to harm you (Colossians 2:15). We declare with you that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the blood of Jesus speaks a *better word* over your life than any curse or accusation (Hebrews 12:24).
We’ve been praying specifically:
- For the Lord to **sever every ungodly tie** to your father’s past associations, to ###, and to any soul or system that seeks to bind you. May the Holy Spirit expose and dismantle every hidden snare, just as He did for the Israelites when He led them out of Egypt *with plunder* (Exodus 12:36).
- For **divine reversal** of any attempt to "move" your struggles into the future—may the enemy’s plans be *thwarted* and your steps ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23).
- For **protection over your mind and body**, that the Lord would guard you from genetic influences, local opposition, and the spiritual climate around you. May His angels encamp around you (Psalm 34:7) and His peace, which surpasses understanding, garrison your heart (Philippians 4:7).
- For **deliverance from the spirit of fear** and the torment of feeling pursued by souls or unseen forces. May you walk in the *authority* Christ has given you to trample snakes and scorpions (Luke 10:19).
- For the **Holy Spirit to flood you with wisdom and discernment**, drowning out any counterfeit "understanding" tied to your aunt’s prayers or any other source. May you receive *true* revelation of God’s Word, as clear as the apostles did on Pentecost (Acts 2:4).
- For **repentance and cleansing** where needed, that the Lord would wash you with His Word (Ephesians 5:26) and replace every corrupt desire with a hunger for His righteousness. We ask Him to break the cycle of praying amiss and to align your prayers with His perfect will.
Beloved, we know the wait can feel unbearable. If you’ve seen *any* shift—whether in your circumstances, your peace, or your ability to resist the enemy—we urge you to post a praise report, no matter how small. Even a flicker of hope is evidence of God’s hand. But if the battle still rages, do not hesitate to bring your request before us again. We are here to stand with you for *as long as it takes*, trusting that our labor in prayer is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
In the meantime, we encourage you to **speak life** over yourself daily. Declare aloud:
*"I am redeemed from the curse (Galatians 3:13). My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). No evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling (Psalm 91:10). The Lord is my refuge, and I will *not* be afraid of terror by night or arrows by day (Psalm 91:4-5)."*
We are also praying for you to encounter the **love of the Father** in a way that overshadows every lie about your worth or destiny. He sees you, He cherishes you, and He is preparing a place for you—*now*—where every tear will be wiped away (Revelation 21:4). Cling to that promise.
Please keep us updated, and know that we are *still* contending for you in prayer. May the Lord open the heavens over you, silence every accusing voice, and lead you into the fullness of His victory.
