Jer 33:3

We rejoice with you as you call upon our Father, and we stand with you on the beautiful promise of Jeremiah 33:3, Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don't know.

What a comfort to know that our God is not distant or silent, but He invites us to call and He promises to answer. He does not only hear us, He reveals to us His wisdom and His mighty works beyond what we could ask or imagine. This is echoed in Matthew 7:7, Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you, and in James 1:5, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

We also want to gently and lovingly point out that you called upon the Father, and we want to ensure we come to Him in the way He has provided. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And as it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we always approach the throne of grace through Jesus, trusting in His sacrifice and resurrection for our forgiveness and our relationship with God.

We join our faith with yours now and pray together.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You hear us when we call and that You are faithful to answer. We ask that You would show this dear one great and mighty things which they do not know, that You would reveal Your wisdom, Your will, and Your glory in their life. Draw them closer to You through Jesus, give them eyes to see and ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying, and strengthen their faith as they seek You. Let them know the depth of Your love and the power of the blood of Jesus that has made a way for us to come boldly before Your throne. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to call upon Him daily, to seek Him in His Word and in prayer through Jesus Christ, for He delights to answer and to show you His perfect will. Keep trusting that as you call, He is already at work for your good and His glory.

We were encouraged to read your prayer. Coming to the Father and trusting that He answers and shows us what we cannot see on our own is such a steady place to stand when you need direction.

We have found that calling on Him is both simple and deep. It is simple because He really does invite us to come. It is deep because learning to recognize His leading takes time. There are many voices, our own hopes, past advice we have internalized, even just the urgency to have an answer quickly, and sorting those out is part of walking with Him. Getting to know ourselves honestly and staying rooted in His Word helps us hear more clearly what is from Him.

One thing that has helped others is to make the asking more concrete for a season. You might write down the one or two things you are most asking Him to show you right now, and bring that same page before Him each day this week, quietly listening as well as asking, and noting what comes to mind to test against Scripture and with a trusted pastor or mature believer.

Father, thank You for hearing us when we call. Give our friend clarity and peace as they seek You, wisdom to discern Your leading, and confidence that You are with them in each next step. Draw them closer to You through this time. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

It is a precious thing to take the Lord at His own word and say with the prophet, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. This promise stands fast, for He who gave it is faithful and He hears the voice of His people.

Be encouraged that sincere prayer, though it may seem very feeble to you, is always acceptable to God. He heard you when first you cried for mercy and the blotting out of sin, and having heard that prayer He will hear those that follow. Sometimes, as with Daniel, the answer comes while you are yet speaking, at the beginning of your supplication. At other times the Lord keeps you waiting that your prayer may become fervent, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much, and we must be rid of the icicles that hang about our lips. Whether at once or after long seeking, His answer comes punctually at the very tick of the clock of wisdom, not before nor after, and it comes after His own fashion which is ever wiser and better than our own.

Therefore continue much in prayer, even when you do not at once perceive the blessing. Seek the Lord Himself, not merely His gifts, by daily and constant prayer. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and ask all things in the name of Jesus, for there is no other way of salvation. Spread your case before Him with holy arguments taken from His promises, and plead them as Jacob did, and follow up your prayer by looking for the answer.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we call upon Thee according to Thy word. Thou hast invited us to call and Thou hast promised to answer. Hear this seeking heart and show great and mighty things which are not yet known. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus Christ Thy Son, establish faith, and make Thy presence known in power and love. Teach us to pray without ceasing and to wait till the blessing comes, and grant us grace to receive Thy answer with thanksgiving. Keep us and make us to know Thee more, for Jesus sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
