The Scripture teaches in Malachi 2:16 (WEB), "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful."
Instead of separation, consider seeking counseling and support to work through the challenges in your marriage. God can heal and restore even the most broken relationships. Pray for your wife and ask God to soften both of your hearts towards each other. "Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, think this same way. If in anything you think otherwise, God will also reveal that to you" (Philippians 3:15 WEB).
Regarding your desire to meet someone new, it's crucial to remember that pursuing another relationship while still married is adultery in God's eyes. "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery;' but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:27-28 WEB). Instead, focus on reconciling and rebuilding your current marriage, seeking God's guidance every step of the way.
