We join you in this cry and we agree with the truth you have spoken, it is not us they hate but Christ in us. Jesus told us this would be so when He said If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. John 15:18 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. John 15:19 We take comfort that this hatred confirms we belong to Him, and we also feel the burden you feel for those who are still lost.

We hear your urgency for their salvation and we share it. Our hearts break with yours for those with hardened hearts and closed minds. We pray as Jesus commanded, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44 and we ask the Father to do what only He can do, to remove the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh. I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26 We know His desire is mercy, for The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 So we plead for their souls and for those close to them, that the Lord would open their eyes before it is too late.

We also agree with you that the Lord is coming soon and that the distress we see in this world, including the severe weather and suffering, is a warning of the judgment to come for those who refuse Him and a reminder that He will repay each according to his work. Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work. Revelation 22:12 Hell is real and it is eternal separation from God, and that is why we cry out for mercy now while there is still time.

So together we bring this before the throne in Jesus name, for it is only through His name we have access to the Father and it is only through His name anyone can be saved.

Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. Have mercy on us Your servants and have mercy on those who hate us because they hate You in us. Soften their hearts and minds, Lord, take away their blindness and give them a new heart that can receive Your truth. Save them and save their households, draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus before the door is closed. We confess we need You desperately, we need mighty miracles of salvation and protection that only You can do. Cover us and all Your people under Your wings, keep us in Your refuge and fortress in these perilous days. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2 Guard us from evil, strengthen us to stand firm and to love those who persecute us, and let our lives shine with Christ so that even our enemies may see and be drawn to You. We trust Your coming is near and we ask You to use us to warn and to win as many as will hear. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We hear the burden in your prayer, and we join you in it. Loving people who oppose the faith and asking Jesus to soften their hearts instead of hardening your own is a Christlike place to be. It is heavy to carry that concern, especially when the world feels unsettled and the weather and headlines make you feel His coming is very near.

We are praying with you for mercy, for those you see resisting Him and for those close to them, that they would have time and openness to turn to Him. And we are praying for you too, for protection and steady peace as you keep watching and waiting for Him. You don't have to carry this alone.

It can help to keep this intercession sustainable. If it helps, keep a small, quiet list of the names most on your heart and bring them to the Lord regularly, and let a trusted pastor or a couple of fellow believers know you are carrying this so they can stand with you in prayer.

Father, we bring to You the people this dear one is praying for. Have mercy and draw them to Yourself while there is time. Soften hearts and open minds to know Jesus. Guard Your servants, give them peace and courage, and work in mighty ways according to Your will. We trust them into Your hands in Jesus' name, amen.

There is a true and faithful word in your prayer, for our Lord Himself said, If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. It is not you that the world despises, but Christ in you, the hope of glory. To be hated for His name is no strange thing, and though it be painful to the flesh, it is a mark that you belong to Him.

Your cry for those who hate Him is Christlike indeed. While many are enemies of the Cross of Christ, living for themselves and for this present world, we are taught to weep over them rather than to curse them. The same grace that has softened our own hard hearts can soften theirs. Salvation is of the Lord, altogether of grace, not of man. The plan was of God, the provision is of God, and the power to apply it is of God. What man cannot do, the Lord can do in a moment, for He has promised, I will pour upon them the Spirit of grace and of supplications, and they shall look upon Him whom they have pierced.

You speak rightly of the terror that awaits those who refuse Him and of the nearness of His coming. Hell is no fable, and the miseries of this present world are indeed but a faint taste of that everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord which shall come upon those who reject so great salvation. Yet while the day of mercy lasts, there is hope. Our Lord Jesus Christ did not die in vain. Even though they set themselves against Christ, yet they shall come when the Lord draws them, and glory shall be gotten to His holy name by the salvation of those who never thought of being saved. Let us therefore pray earnestly that the Lord would have mercy and grant repentance before it be too late, that those who are now enemies might become beloved for His sake.

And for you who feel your need of protection and mighty miracles, remember that the greatest miracle of love is the love of God shed abroad in the heart by Jesus Christ. That love cures our fears and our despondency and keeps us safe. Christ's blood alone is our hope, the Spirit's work alone is our life. Here let us stand, and we shall be safe. He who has helped us hitherto will bear us through, and make us more than conquerors.

We join our prayers with yours now, that the Lord would keep His servants under the shadow of His wing, that He would soften hard hearts and open blind eyes to see God's salvation in Christ, and that He would show His mighty power to save and to keep. May you rest wholly and entirely in the hands of Christ, trusting Him alone, for to see Him by faith is to see God's salvation. May the Lord comfort your heart and establish you until He comes.

We commend you and those you love to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, and we pray that many yet may be washed in the blood of Christ and robed in His righteousness. Amen.

Your prayer is right and faithful before God, for you have understood that the hatred you endure is not against you alone but against Christ who dwells in you. This is what the Lord Himself said, that the world hated Him first, and it will hate those who belong to Him. To see this clearly is a grace, and to answer it not with cursing but with mercy is the way of Christ.

You ask not for wrath to fall upon those who hate you, but for their hearts and minds to be softened and for them to be saved before it is too late. In this you walk in love. We are warned not to make intercession against our enemies or to call down punishment upon them and their households, for that would be to taste of a bitter spirit. The greater way is to love even our enemies as Paul did, who was willing to bear all things for the sake of those who stoned and scourged him. So we join you in praying for those who oppose you, that God would open their eyes.

Take courage in this, that Jesus Christ is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, because He ever lives to make intercession for them. His priesthood does not end, His life does not fail, and therefore His power to save does not fail. Even now He intercedes, and for this reason judgment is delayed, so that more may be brought to repentance and faith. The enemies of Christ will indeed be put under His feet, but the delay is mercy for the sake of those who will yet believe.

We also hear your cry for protection and mercy in these fearful days. You speak truly that the terrors of this present time are only a faint taste of the judgment that awaits those who refuse Him, and that His coming is near. Therefore let us continue in patience and faith through afflictions, standing firm and not moved, remembering that patience is proved over time and through trial. God sees His servants and He is their protection and diligence and help.

So we pray with you: Lord Jesus Christ, You who live forever to intercede for us, have mercy. Soften the hearts of those who hate You, open their minds to the truth, save them and those close to them while there is still time. Have mercy on Your servants, keep them under the shelter of Your hand, and grant protection and mighty help according to Your perfect will.
