It's not one-sided

The Bible states,"all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God".It DOESN"T state, if one side sins, they fall short, but if the other side does the same thing, then it's ok.God is no respecter of persons. But in the world, it's different. They seem to have partiality of one side doing something over the other.{"Double standard'}Examples?Oh. if men say things about women, even when they don't mean something by it, they're giving bad "labels".BUT, I notice a lot of women who have contempt for, and maybe even hatred for, men, who consistently downgrade"all" men because maybe they had bad experiences with 3 men. Also, these, comedy shows that women always make "cracks" about men, putting them down,{as in "all" men},but if it was the other way around , there would be protests.{In other words, {according to the worlds way of thinking, if it's the side that they've "chosen" at the moment, it's ok, it's only "wrong" when the "other side" does it.} Like ,I've heard black people who ,a white person may have black friends, and have helped black people out, they're obviously NOT racist, but one day they have a very minor disagreement with a black guy{over a non racial issue} they're called "racist", even though it doesn't fit that particular case.,{But I've seen the other way, if they speak ill of "all" white people, that's fine.}And finally, politics. If a Trump supporter {or other conservative} says something, it's blown all out of proportion, and condemned. But when a "liberal" comedian disrespects "the other side" then it's ok.So my point is, according to Biblical standards, when the Bible states something is a sin, and God is no respecter of persons, isn't it sin on EITHER end?Man sees it as,"when your side does it, it's wrong, but when my side does it, that's fine."But if the Bible states something is sin, wouldn't it be sin for BOTH sides?Combating one extreme by going to the other, doesn't make it "right".All it is is engaging in tit for tat. There is no partiality with God.Either something is right by God, or something is wrong. No partiality.

No Brother James and you were not who I was referring to in this post.If it were that way, I would word it like, "there are 2 site members here who I feel are doing thus and so.I think this is wrong".Notice the ones I mentioned, when talking of a double standard. It was a general statement, making a point that a double standard is wrong, when "the other side" does the same sin, it's a sin just like when the first side does it

Brother Steven, I want you to know if people were ganging up on you, and you were right, I would defend you. If you were wrong, I would defend you in prayer. I would pray for you, and ask those who were coming against you to pray for you and leave you alone. You are my Brother in Christ. We are blood because of the blood of Jesus. And I know Brother James and several others would do the same for you here on this site.

I hope you re-read what we posted because it was all backing up what you stated from the Bible Steven. Instead of listing what is going on around you, you could actually post a prayer for those people. God does hear you Steven. At the end of my first reply I posted a prayer for them as well as us all here. I wish you knew your authority over everyone you give a ride to through Jesus. You could always say no thank you when offered coffee but I would love a milk or orange juice. You could vent straight to Jesus instead of venting here. Jesus hears you just the same as He hears anyone else. The answers to our prayers from Jesus are Yes and Amen when we do His Instructions my friend! What do you think we exist for Steven? For our sakes or for Jesus' sake? If we are here for Jesus then isn't it wise to pay close attention to His Instructions for us to follow? I sure do love it when blessings are following me verses curses following me, don't you? Be blessed in Jesus Steven!
It's not the people I'm riding with offering me coffee, just in general when I hear only one side of something, and not the other, I get cynical that the other side exists.Your reply , my point was that "double standards" , exist with man,but from a Biblical standpoint, if it's a sin, it's a sin EITHER way. Now either that's a true statement, or not.Instead of stating that you agreed or disagreed, you fired off a series of questions of your own.Now I didn't know if those questions were for me, so the conclusion I came to, I thought your point was, that my point was irrelelevant, and I should focus on other things. But that's what a blog is, and I was blogging about something that's a spiritual law, not a different subject , not relevant to the site. Also, everyone is their own unique person with their own style of expressing themselves. You have to realize ,I may have a different style than you, but God didn't create us as robots.

God's language from his point of view is for us to be loving. Even though you might be cynical, do you love them and us out of your heart? Are we as Christians to act cynical? I don't understand why we can't read and do God's love letters to and for us and pray for those that aren't doing Jesus' teachings. Did you re-read what I posted? It would be nice to hear your honest response to what I posted. Is it Yes and Amen with Jesus or not in your eyes now is my only question?

I read your posts and re-read your posts 3 or 4 times now and some of them 5 times. Don't I deserve the same respect?

I start out with one issue and it goes to these side issues. I answered that,I read it{and again} and I said you were ambiguous, you asked questions, and I didn't know but thought you were claiming it wasn't a relevant point{I feel that,by asking questions instead of a straight, you're right or wrong answer, your response wasn't 100% clear. I made.So I defended myself. With the different styles, I wasn't referring to the cynicism,I meant in general,we all have different ways of expressing ourselves ,so you shouldn't cast judgement on someone based only on their style being different then yours.Note my original reply to your reply__I DON'T KNOW what you mean going on and on,but I SENSE that you're criticizing me. {Not I definitely think so.}But then, the other one entered in, and you were verbally high fiving each other each time one refuted me, so I got riled up,and defended my points. But my original point of the blog was, double standards are wrong from a Biblical viewpoint.

I only wondered if the prayer at the end was considered a Yes and Amen in your eyes with Jesus, Steven? The answer is yes or no if that helps you :)

The answer is yes or no if that helps you :)I can say yes to that, but I still don't apologize for having my own style,All I know is, I post a blog making one point ,and with you it always turns into an hours long marathon.Glad you have so much time on your hands. So the answer is yes.

Thank you Steven! You seem to have just as much time on your hands. I don't have the courtesy of having my own style as I live for Jesus, I am dead to myself and I do things Jesus' Way! If Jesus said jump I would just jump, I wouldn't even ask how high but I would jump as high as I could! You don't have to hold on to your New York attitude my friend especially with Jesus :)

I don't have to be a clone of you either. GOODBYE!!!

If you don't want to be a true deciple of Jesus than what are you doing here?

I at times, don't want to reply to your posts Steven but I cannot not do what Jesus puts on my heart to do. If I read your post and leave it, there is a burning in my heart to return at times. I read your post again and I post what I have read in Jesus' Words that replies to your posts then the peace of Jesus overflows through me again. I don't want to be stagnant in Jesus! I desire the peace of Jesus and I desire the blessings of Jesus and I don't want it to end, not now and not for an eternity in Jesus! If you don't desire Jesus and all that Jesus has to offer than what are you doing here?
