The Bible states,"all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God".It DOESN"T state, if one side sins, they fall short,but if the other side does the same thing, then it's ok.God is no respecter of persons.But in the world, it's different.They seem to have partiality of one side doing something over the other.{"Double standard'}Examples?Oh. if men say things about women,even when they don't mean something by it, they're giving bad "labels".BUT, I notice a lot of women who have contempt for, and maybe even hatred for, men, who consistently downgrade"all" men because maybe they had bad experiences with 3 men.Also, these, comedy shows that women always make "cracks" about men, putting them down,{as in "all" men},but if it was the other way around , there would be protests.{In other words, {according to the worlds way of thinking, if it's the side that they've "chosen" at the moment, it's ok, it's only "wrong" when the "other side" does it.} Like ,I've heard black people who ,a white person may have black friends, and have helped black people out,they're obviously NOT racist, but one day they have a very minor disagreement with a black guy{over a non racial issue} they're called "racist", even though it doesn't fit that particular case.,{But I've seen the other way, if they speak ill of "all" white people, that's fine.}And finally, politics.If a Trump supporter {or other conservative} says something, it's blown all out of proportion,and condemned. But when a "liberal" comedian disrespects "the other side" then it's ok.So my point is, according to Biblical standards, when the Bible states something is a sin, and God is no respecter of persons,isn't it sin on EITHER end?Man sees it as,"when your side does it, it's wrong, but when my side does it, that's fine."But if the Bible states something is sin, wouldn't it be sin for BOTH sides?Combating one extreme by going to the other, doesn't make it "right".All it is is engaging in tit for tat.There is no partiality with God.Either something is right by God, or something is wrong.No partiality.

Amen! Thank you Linda! We are blessed with God's Power when we give ourselves to Him and you are right! Jesus is Always up for us! Thank You Lord Jesus for working through Linda as well as many others including myself! Thank You Lord Jesus for not ever losing us! It may seem like we let Jesus Work through us but we are a part of Jesus and it is His Work
Yeah now that the mutual admiration society is over, I STILL think I made a valid point. But if you 2 are so high on each other, and I'm the bad guy, then all I can say is read each others posts but don't read mine. You defend each other, but I'll defend myself. And I STILL say, double standards are wrong.AND I didn't just say Democrats and Republicans, I mentioned other cases.Amen! Thank you Linda! I did not say anything against our brother in Christ, Steven. Brother James you did not say anything against Steven. I don't have to agree with him. But I do have to, and I do agree with the Word of God!!!
Brother James, I don't know what his problem is with us and I don't care. It is too many people on this site need our prayers. That is where all our focus should be on which includes Steven, You, and myself, we should be praying.

I think the problem is, people "scan over" what I post, and misinterpret my meaning. I spoke out AGAINST condoning one sin over another.I said the world does it,but it's wrong. You just said the same, Christians can't pick and choose one sin over another.

So where's the argument?Oh, THAT statement...well, sometimes it seems one of you says something disagreeing with what I feel is a valid point, and the other jumps in congradulating the first, so I feel you're "ganging up" on me,so I'm like, since you have such a high admiration, for each other, and find what I feel are valid points so distasteful,then deal with each other, and not me.

Steven, we weren't saying anything against you or what you stated. There was absolutely no argument to interpret. We all come here to be friends with everyone else that comes here. I know we both love you with the love of Christ. If you or anyone posts something on an open forum everyone that reads it has a right to make a reply. If I am wrong about anything I said and I don't have Biblical truth in anything I posted please tell me and I will be grateful. Linda and I try to lift each other up as well as lift others up. I have lifted you up Steven at other times. Did you actually carefully read what we posted or skim through quickly? Maybe re-read what we posted Steven.
