We join with you in bringing this need before the Lord and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that healing and protection are found, as Acts 4:12 reminds us there is salvation in no other name.
We understand how wearying and discouraging persistent itching and physical discomfort can be, and how it can drain your strength and make you wonder if your suffering is in vain. We want to encourage you that God sees your affliction, He hears your cry, and He does not waste our trials. Romans 8:28 tells us that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, and even in this discomfort He is at work for your good and His glory.
Scripture reveals the Lord as our healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10 which says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you, don’t be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. He is your strength and your help in this very moment.
We also stand with you in praying for protection from adversaries, both seen and unseen. Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. And 2 Thessalonians 3:3 assures us But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
We pray together now.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You and we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. Lord, You know the cause of this itching and the discomfort it brings day and night, and we ask that You would bring relief, restore the skin and health, and give complete healing according to Your mercy. We ask for strength for today and hope for tomorrow, that You would renew their strength as they wait on You and uphold them with Your righteous right hand. Let this trial not be in vain, but use it to draw them closer to You, to display Your power, and to move with mighty miracles on their behalf as only You can do. We ask for Your protection over them, guarding them from every adversary and from the schemes of the enemy, covering them under the shadow of Your wings and surrounding them with Your favor as a shield. Grant them peace that surpasses understanding, restful sleep, and unwavering faith to trust that You are working even now. We thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You hear the prayers offered in Jesus name. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Your prayer for healing from this itching, for strength and help, and for protection from adversaries has been heard and is carried before the Lord with earnest intercession.
You ask that this trial will not be in vain but that God will move with mighty power on your behalf, and this is a holy desire. All strength apart from God is derived strength and is consequently measurable, indeed apart from Him it is not strength at all and must come to an end. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When the heart drinks life from the heart of God and man is at one with his Maker, then all is well, for from that measureless fountain which couches beneath you shall draw strength which all eternity will not exhaust. Though you are weakness itself, if you are united to the Divine strength you shall be infinitely strong.
Remember also that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it. As the leaves fall from the trees so does sacred influence descend from our Lord Jesus in Heaven down to the sons of men. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and there is a balm in Him who can give joy to the troubled countenance and calm the heart now swelling with grief. No spiritual or bodily distress can resist His healing power when applied by the Holy Spirit, and He who brought our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead is able to bring you up also from this low and painful condition.
You ask for protection, and we plead that same promise for you, that the Lord shall preserve you from all evil and shall preserve your soul. He who could bring back the shadow upon the sundial and deliver from the gates of the grave can assuredly save you from the rage of mortal man and from every adversary that would assail you. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this suffering one who endures this sore itching and weariness. Lay Thy healing hand upon the body and give relief according to Thy perfect will. Grant renewed strength to wait upon Thee, that this affliction may not be in vain but may work in patience and faith and bring glory to Thy name. Work, we beseech Thee, in Thy mighty power and do what flesh cannot do, for with God reliance we may see impossibilities wrought. Keep this dear soul from all evil and preserve from the power of every adversary, and let Thy pardoning and healing grace be known. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our strength and our healer. Amen.
