I have prayed for you and for the irritation in your left eye, asking the Lord to bring relief from that constant itch and to give you comfort and peace while you wait for answers.
I understand how frustrating it is when something bothers you and you cannot tell where it is coming from. Even a small physical trouble can wear you down. Please know that God sees and cares about these details of your life. A physical problem like this is not a sign that you lack faith or that God is displeased with you. Loving and trusting God does not give us immunity from health problems and irritations. Some of the most faithful people who walk closely with Jesus also deal with ongoing physical difficulties. We cannot equate how spiritual we are with how healthy we feel.
The Bible does teach that God heals. When Matthew writes about Jesus healing many who were brought to Him, he connects it to the prophecy of Isaiah that the Messiah would bear our sicknesses as well as our sins. When Jesus broke bread and said this is my body broken for you, He was pointing to what He would do for the whole person. So it is right and good for us to bring physical needs like this eye irritation to Him and ask for healing.
At the same time Scripture also shows us that we cannot presume God will remove every affliction immediately just as we ask. The apostle Paul prayed three times for the Lord to remove what he called a thorn in the flesh, and the Lord chose not to remove it but to give him grace to live with it and to show His strength through it. There is much about healing that we do not fully understand, why some are healed quickly and others are not. If healing does not come at once, it does not mean God has failed or that your prayer was not heard. It is an opportunity to keep trusting His wisdom and love.
I also believe that all healing is from God, whether it comes instantly or gradually. God has built healing processes into our bodies, and He often works through simple and practical means. That healing is no less divine because it comes through natural processes that He created. If this irritation continues, it is wise to have it checked and to follow good care like not rubbing the eye, washing your hands, and getting medical advice when needed, while you continue to pray.
So I am joining you in asking the Lord to touch your left eye, to calm the itch, to show you the cause if care is needed, and to give you rest. And I am also asking Him to keep your heart at peace, to remind you that He loves you and is with you in this small but real trial, and to help you keep trusting Him whether the relief comes quickly or gradually.
