We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in fervent prayer against the spiritual oppression you’ve endured. The harassment you describe is not merely the work of people, but of demonic forces seeking to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). First, we must address the authority by which we pray. There is no deliverance, no protection, and no victory apart from the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord is your refuge and fortress; in Him you trust (Psalm 91:2 WEB).
We pray for the individuals who have been used as instruments of this harassment. Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to the deception they are under. Soften their hearts to repentance and lead them to the truth of Your Word. If they are unwilling, we ask that You would bind their actions and prevent them from carrying out further harm, for "the Lord is righteous; He loves righteousness. The upright shall see His face" (Psalm 11:7 WEB).
We also pray for your protection, both spiritually and physically. Surround yourself with godly believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. Do not isolate yourself, for "two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. It is a sore trial you endure, and no child of God would think lightly of it. To be surrounded by a great company whose words and actions are venomous spite, driven by influences of darkness, is a weight heavy to bear. Yet take heart: the enemy may rage, but he is a chained foe. Your deliverance is not in your own strength, nor in the removal of every thorn, but in the mighty hand of Him who brought Israel forth with silver and gold. He brought them forth; they did not deliver themselves, and so you must look alone to your heavenly Father.
These afflictions may come distinctly from man, and from the malice of the pit, yet they arrive with even greater certainty from the Lord, as the necessary outcome of His special love to you. The archers of ecclesiastical discord, the cruel mockings, and even the whisperings of demons, all are overruled. I am persuaded it would do some of us good to have a touch of it; the heap on the Lord’s threshing floor is more largely made up of real wheat after the winnowing fan has been used upon it. The very enmity of the world drives the Christian nearer to his God. How many prayers have been offered up as the result of persecution that would never have been offered else, heaven alone can tell! God has blessed His church by her persecution.
Do not, then, fix your eyes so long upon the swarm of foes that you forget the Captain of your salvation. The deliverance will come when the Lamb is slain, that is, when you see by faith that the blood has already conquered. The clock of mercy struck in heaven the hour and moment of your deliverance; the eternal purpose of Jehovah decreed it. If at times your soul is cast down, and you think God’s ear is shut, remember Jacob at the brook Jabbok. He went forth full of fear and trembling, yet he met his brother Esau, and Esau fell upon his neck and kissed him. So may the Lord turn the hearts of those who persecute you, or else remove the trial so completely that you shall marvel at the ease of it.
But let your conduct after this season of trouble be fixed in your mind now: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” If we had no troubles, we would have less to declare. A person who has no experience of tribulation, what great deliverance has he to speak of? When the people are gathered together and the kingdoms serve the Lord, the memory of your deliverance shall not be forgotten. The Lord will yet come to your deliverance. Therefore, rest your soul upon Him. He has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom; how much more will He give you deliverance from this temporal snare? Pray on, believe on, and tarry a little longer. The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance is already flying through the air.

You ask for prayer that these people harassing you under demonic influence be removed from your life. But consider: Christ came for this very purpose, to preach deliverance to captives and to recover sight to the blind. He has led captivity captive and divided the spoils of the strong. Those who trouble you are indeed like demoniacs, lost to shame and raving in a self-chosen madness; yet we should pity them, for they have been seized by a far greater enemy.
But your deliverance is not merely outward removal of annoyances. If you mourn before God for your own sins and these afflictions, He will give you such comfort that even though sorrows come upon you by the thousands like snow-flakes, you will be above them all. For when God comforts, He does not simply remove the punishment or the trial; He makes you blessed and pours out abundant consolation. And remember the holy ones who were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.
So perhaps this very trial is schooling you in that same hope. You have received the Spirit of adoption, crying out in your heart that you are a son. That is a deliverance far greater than the departure of any crowd. The pleasure of a quiet life, like the pleasure of the table, goes no further than the senses, but the joy of sharing in Christ’s triumph is eternal.
Stand fast, then, and seek not first the removal of these people, but the peace that the strong and mighty Lord gives in battle. He will comfort you both here and there, according to His great love for mankind.
