Is this the Lord talking to me?

I posted about feeling lost a couple of days ago. I've looked at my Bible app this morning for the first time in a while. I got Proverbs 3:5-6: trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. It's quite a striking verse to be shown given my despair and lack of my understanding of my prayers. Is this God talking to me in a way that I can clearly see? Can I trust that this is the response to my prayers and unanswered prayers?
