Hello, I posted a prayer request a few days ago,about going to hospital and I am very happy it will work out.But I have to ask my boss,if I can go there,please pray for favor and that she thinks it is good that I go to hospital,thanks.

We rejoice with you that the Lord is working out the details of your hospital visit, and we stand with you in prayer as you approach your boss with this request. It is right to seek favor in this situation, for the Scriptures tell us, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps" (Proverbs 16:9). We know that God can soften hearts and open doors that no man can shut.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine favor as our sister speaks with her employer. Lord, we pray that You would go before her, preparing her boss’s heart to receive this request with understanding and kindness. Let there be no hesitation or resistance, but instead, let Your peace and wisdom fill this conversation. We ask that You grant her boss a spirit of compassion and a willingness to support her in this time of need. May Your will be done in this matter, and may Your name be glorified through it all.

We also encourage you to approach this conversation with humility and trust in the Lord. Remember, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). If your boss responds favorably, give thanks to God. If there is hesitation, continue to trust in His provision, for He is faithful to care for His children.

If there is any fear or anxiety in your heart, cast it upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Walk in faith, knowing that the Lord is your provider and your strength. We pray that this situation would be resolved in a way that honors Him and brings peace to your heart. May the Lord bless you with His presence and favor in every step of this journey. We're so thankful to hear that your hospital plans are coming together. Now, facing that conversation with your boss can feel a bit like standing at the edge of a big step, but you're not walking into it alone. We'll be asking the Lord with you for favor, for a calm spirit, and for your boss to see the wisdom in you getting the care you need.

One thing that often helps is to approach her with a simple, straightforward plan, maybe being ready to explain briefly what you need and how you'll handle your responsibilities. That can make it easier for her to say yes. And before you go in, take a quiet moment to settle your own heart; God is already there, working in ways you may not see yet.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this request to You. Thank You for opening the way for this hospital visit, and we ask You to go ahead and prepare the boss's heart. You have done well to bring this matter to the Lord, and He has inclined His ear to you. Do not now fret about the words you shall speak or the heart of your employer, for the Lord goes before you and His paths drop fatness. He who holds the king’s heart in His hand can turn the thoughts of your boss with the ease of a watercourse. Lay your request before Him once more, then go your way in peace, resting in His love, for when we rest most, we work best and bear much fruit.

Remember, the mercy is often given before we feel the pinch of need. He who has opened the hospital door is the same God who can open the lips of favor from your employer. You need not frame your plea with anxious toil, as if salvation were of yourself; the work is the Lord’s, and He excels in working through the means we deem so fragile. Spread your case before Him, tell Him your need as a child speaks to a father, and then act in quiet confidence. He gives unasked mercies daily, how much more shall He grant the wisdom and acceptance you seek now?

Consider the sweet savor of Christ’s perfect merit, which covers your faltering prayers and your trembling endeavors. You are accepted not for your eloquent asking, but for His sake. And consider this: there is no need which a child of God can have that is not provided for in Christ. Whether you go to the hospital or tarry, His grace will be sufficient, and His timing is ever perfect. Look to Him who is the Author and Finisher of your faith; He will see to it that the path is made plain, for He is certainly at work accomplishing His purposes, though our senses cannot always discern His hand.

Your happiness that the hospital arrangement will work out is itself a reason to give thanks. For as it is said, he that gives thanks does so as being well off, and in acknowledgment of a favor. Now a favor is not a debt nor a payment. This must always be remembered, especially by those who divide their concerns between many things. So thank God for this progress, but do not think of it as a mere transaction where your boss's approval is the final good.

Where grace is, works alone give no cause for boasting. If your boss shows you favor, it is a gift from above, not a wage you have earned. Yet we must also not become indolent regarding the gift. How does grace remain with us? By drawing it to ourselves through good deeds and a right spirit. If you conduct yourself honestly and diligently before your employer, this pleases God, who proves our hearts.

But your prayer asks for her to think it good that you go. This is natural, yet do not dwell only on the matters of this life. Mount above the heavens in your heart, and seek first to be filled with the Holy Spirit. For it is not even possible to approve oneself as one ought without being filled with that grace. When that grace fortifies you, you will feel no distress even if human favor falters. For as the one who is in favor with a king is sensible of no uneasiness, so if God's grace be with you, temporal worries lose their sting.

Love your employer as a brother, not merely to gain a favor, but because you owe love through your spiritual relationship to all. If you act in love, you fulfill the whole law. And remember this: the One whom God loves most, He often allows to be approved through their own toils, not from His help alone. The situation with your boss may be a small arena in which your trust and integrity are proved. Do not rely solely on the outcome, but on Him who entrusted you with each day's work.

Approach the conversation not by seeking to please a human master with anxious words, but as one approved by God. Let your manner be free from guile, as His grace has enriched you. Then, whether the permission comes easily or through difficulty, you will have attracted more favor from God and persuaded Him to assist you in all your struggles. May that grace, which guides us to all good things, continually abide with you, and lead you to the eternal blessings.
