Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is experiencing heartache and longing. We pray for her peace and comfort, and we ask that Your will be done in this situation.

Lord, if it is Your will, soften the hearts of the family members involved and help them to see Your perspective. Change and unite Your children's minds according to Your word. Guide them in Your truth.

If this man is truly a believer and is willing to honor You with his life, we pray for a godly marriage that reflects Your love and commitment. But if he is not we pray for a change of heart, for him to seek you in all his ways.

In the meantime, help our sister to trust in Your timing and to wait patiently for Your guidance. We pray that she would desire to live in a manner that honors You. And if this relationship is not Your will, we pray that You would give her the strength to let it go and wait for the right relationship that would honor you. We pray she will find a godly man to marry in Jesus name. Help her to commit all her thoughts about this matter to you and to trust in You.

Help and teach us to pursue holiness, purity, and righteousness in all our relationships.
