I want him to leave me alone because I do not want to talk no longer

Godispowerful

Humble Servant
His friend, ###, emailed me on the text message that he wants me to get back together with ###. I refused to be back together with him because he lied to me, and he made me feel less of myself. ### loves me so much Im his friend, ###’s, and he has been thinking about me. He knows a lot has happened but give him a chance to explain. I am not going to talk to him at all. That’s why I blocked the email or WhatsApp numbers. It is his responsibility for what he did to me.

We hear the pain and frustration in your words, and we want you to know that your feelings are valid. It is clear that this man has hurt you deeply through his lies and actions, and it is completely understandable that you would want to distance yourself from him. You have every right to set boundaries and protect your heart, especially when someone has shown disregard for your well-being.

First, we must address the importance of seeking God’s will in all things. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." It is wise to turn to the Lord for guidance and strength as you navigate this situation. You have taken a bold step in blocking him, and we pray that you continue to stand firm in that decision.

We also want to gently remind you of the power of forgiveness, not for his sake, but for yours. Holding onto bitterness and unforgiveness can weigh heavily on your heart. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be removed from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness does not mean what he did was acceptable; it means you are releasing the burden to God and allowing Him to handle justice.

We must also address the nature of your past relationship with this man. If this was a romantic relationship, it is important to reflect on whether it honored God. The Bible is clear that relationships should be built on truth, respect, and mutual edification. If he lied to you and made you feel less than who God created you to be, that is not the foundation of a godly relationship. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, "Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul." While this verse speaks to anger, the principle applies to any relationship that brings harm or dishonor to God’s design.

We also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and community. Surround yourself with believers who can support you, pray for you, and speak truth into your life. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." You do not have to walk through this alone.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister who is hurting. Lord, You see the pain in her heart, and You know the wounds that have been inflicted. We ask that You would heal her heart and restore her sense of worth and identity in You. Help her to stand firm in the boundaries she has set and give her the strength to resist any temptation to reopen doors that should remain closed.

Father, we pray for this man, that You would convict his heart and lead him to repentance. If it is Your will, soften his heart to understand the harm he has caused and turn him toward a life that honors You. But Lord, we also ask that You protect our sister from any further harm or manipulation. Surround her with Your peace and remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image.

We ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, guiding her steps and giving her wisdom as she moves forward. Help her to release any bitterness or unforgiveness, not because what was done was right, but because You have called us to walk in love and freedom. Lord, we also pray that You would bring godly people into her life to encourage and support her.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Spend time in His Word, allowing it to renew your mind and strengthen your spirit. You are not defined by this man’s actions or words, you are defined by Christ, who loves you unconditionally and has a purpose for your life. If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your heart fully to Jesus, for He is the only One who can truly heal and restore. If you have not made Him the Lord of your life, we invite you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no greater peace than knowing Him.

It can be so draining when someone won’t respect a clear decision, and having a friend step in to push you can stir up all the ache again. We hear you. You were lied to and made to feel small, and you don’t owe anyone a second chance. Blocking those lines of contact was wise; it protects the emotional space you need to heal.

The kind of wound that comes from being devalued by someone you trusted runs deep, and it’s easy to start believing that their treatment says something true about your worth. It doesn’t. The way he acted is on him, his choices, his responsibility, just as you said. You are not less because someone else couldn’t treat you with honesty and respect. You have the right to decide who has access to your life, and walking away from what harms you is a form of courage, not coldness.

If it helps, simply refuse to engage if another message slips through: you don’t have to explain again. Silence is a complete answer when you’ve already been clear. Lean on friends who know your value and can remind you of it on the days the old hurt surfaces. And in quiet moments, let yourself rest in the truth that your worth is anchored in the God who formed you with care, not in any person’s shifting opinion.

Let’s pray together:

Lord Jesus, thank you for giving this woman the clarity to recognize harm and the strength to set a boundary. Guard her peace so she no longer feels pulled by unwanted contact. Reassure her that she is precious in your eyes, no matter what anyone else has done or said. Bring her trustworthy support and steady healing. We also ask that you would work in the man’s heart to respect her decision and to face his own actions honestly. In your name, Amen.

The heart that has been wounded by deceit and made to feel less than itself does well to refuse the voice that would draw it back into bondage. You have seen the lie; you have felt the diminishment of your soul. It is his responsibility for what he did. That is truth, and you are not required to give him audience.

Yet take heed that this rightful refusal does not become a refuge of self-righteousness. The text warns us against the refuges of lies, and among them is that very self-conceit which whispers, “I have been sinned against, therefore I am clean.” Examine yourself. Look not upon your own fairness in this matter, for the fairest among women said, “Look not upon me, because I am black.” She who was fairest in the eyes of others felt her own blackness most keenly, because she had looked within. Go and do likewise. Let not the wrong of another blind you to the sin of your own heart, which needs as much the blood of Christ as his.

You have said, “I will not talk to him at all.” That may be wise. But I ask: have you talked to God? Have you humbled yourself before Him? The acceptable act of Josiah was not that he was merely humble, but that he humbled himself. He trembled at God’s word and rent his clothes. Do you tremble, lest in your firmness there be also pride? Lest in your wounded dignity there be an unforgiving spirit? Self-examination is a stern military review: go through the rank and file of your motives. Question your heart as a schoolmaster questions a child. Do you see any progress in grace? Or has this trial only hardened you?

Remember, without Christ you can do nothing. Not only can you not save yourself, you cannot even righteously refuse another. Your strength to stand is not in your own resolve. The text says, “O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help.” You have not destroyed yourself in this matter, yet you are a self-destroyer by nature. Your help is not in blocking numbers or in the satisfaction of a clean escape. Your help is in the Lord. Flee to Him as your true Husband, for the relationship of marriage with Christ is one of voluntary covenant. He has betrothed you to Himself in faithfulness, and He will never lie, never diminish you, never cast you off. Let your soul find its rest there.

As for the man, leave him to God. It is his responsibility, as you said. Pray that he may come to loathe his sins as you ought to loathe your own, every one of them, even the secret faults, after the pattern of pardoned sinners who remember and abhor. But do not entertain his intrusions. Your peace is not in his explanation, but in the finished work of Jesus. Stand fast in that, and let the silence you keep toward him be filled with the voice of the Spirit, teaching you to say, “In me, that is, in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing.” This will keep you humble while keeping you safe.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have acted rightly in blocking all communication from him and his friend. When a man lies and makes you feel less than the image of God in which you are created, he has proven himself unfit to be trusted with your heart. Do not entertain the flattering words sent through another. It is as our Lord did when the crowds sought Him only for the loaves and their bellies’ sake, He exposed their true intent rather than welcoming their hollow praise. That friend speaks of love, but love that tears down and deceives is no love at all; it is the care of this world and the deceitfulness of such entanglements that choke the good seed in you. Labor not for the meat that perishes, for a relationship built on falsehood, but for that meat which endures to everlasting life.

You are in a battle, yes, but do not be distressed. The arms given to you are arms of light; they make you bright and secure. You are both soldier and bride of Christ, and your first loyalty is to Him who never lies nor belittles His own. To maintain your peace, keep your senses exercised by continual hearing of the Scriptures. Let the word dwell in you richly, and it will strengthen your resolve. Do not let anyone persuade you to loosen the bands of iniquity only to be bound again by an oppressive covenant. You have torn up that unjust contract; now keep it torn. Break your bread for the hungry, yes, but do not cast your pearls before those who have trampled them already.

Should he ever truly repent, bringing forth fruits worthy of a changed life, not merely words through an intermediary, then it would be another matter. But until that day, stand firm. The Lord sees your affliction and will speedily bring your healing to light. While you are yet speaking in prayer, He will say, “Lo, here I am.” Do not look back. Stretch forth your hand, as Christ commanded the withered hand, and it will be restored whole, just as the other, your life made full and sound apart from him who wounded you.

Hurt and betrayal cut deeply, and the pressure you feel from someone who claims to love you can be confusing. I want to remind you that the ability to make your own choice is part of how God fashioned you in His image. He gave you a will, a capacity for self-determination, and that means the decisions you make carry real weight and dignity. You have already seen that his words and actions don’t line up, and you have made the choice to step away. That is not something to be ashamed of; it is a sober and clear-headed response to being lied to and made to feel small.

Be cautious about emotional appeals that try to override the truth. A message that insists “he loves you so much” or begs you to give him another chance can stir up old feelings, but emotions shift quickly. They can go from tears to laughter and back again without ever being anchored in what is reliable. If all you had was an emotional pull without solid evidence of genuine change, it would lack the roots needed to hold up under future testings. Lasting fruit comes when our decisions rest on facts, on what is true, not on a charged moment that fades.

Genuine love is not just an intense feeling. It bears the marks of self-sacrifice, understanding, and a refusal to manipulate or demean. You described how he lied to you and made you feel less of yourself. That is not the kind of love that reflects God’s character. God’s love uplifts, speaks truth, and never pushes anyone into a corner. You are not responsible to explain yourself to someone who broke trust. His own actions have consequences, and it is right to let him carry that weight.

At the same time, I encourage you to watch the soil of your own heart. Even when we enforce healthy boundaries, bitterness can creep in. God invites us to release that heavy weight to Him. That doesn’t mean you must restore the relationship; it means you can let God handle the justice and the healing. In the Scriptures, a simple point of contact, touching the hem of Jesus’ garment, dipping seven times in the Jordan, became the moment when faith was activated and healing poured in. In the same way, you can reach out to the Lord right now and ask for His touch on the places that still ache. You can say, “Lord, I release my hurt and my case into Your hands. Heal what he broke and fill me with Your peace.” In an instant, you may sense that weight lift.

I am praying that you experience that kind of relief, the kind that isn’t just an emotional high but a deep, calm assurance that you are safe in God’s will. Let your decision stand on the rock of His truth, and let His love, which is pure and unshakable, be the anchor for your heart.

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to stand with you in prayer during this difficult time. It has been our privilege to lift your request to the Lord, asking Him to grant you peace, strength, and the wisdom to navigate this situation according to His will. We prayed that He would soften hearts, bring clarity, and surround you with His protection as you sought to move forward in a way that honors Him.

If God has answered your prayer—if you now feel a sense of peace, if the attempts to reach you have ceased, or if He has given you the strength to stand firm in your decision—we would love to hear how He has worked. Your praise report could be an encouragement to others who are facing similar struggles.

If, however, you still feel unsettled or if the situation remains unresolved, we invite you to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you in prayer, asking the Lord to intervene in ways only He can. We will keep lifting you up, trusting that He hears your cries and will guide your steps as you seek Him.

May the Lord bless you with His presence and fill you with His peace as you rest in the knowledge that He sees your pain and is working all things for your good. We pray that you would feel His love wrapping around you like a shield, and that you would find comfort in His promises. In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen.
