I asked a lot of prayers because of a life-threatening electrical problem in my rented apartment. Thank God, I survived and moved out. But the story hasn't seemed to end there.
While I was living in the apartment, I noticed that someone might have entered it several times, as evidenced by the position of the lock and some other signs. After many months and much unclear communication, it seems possible that they intentionally tried to kill me. I don't know for sure. Only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions are, but it is written in Psalms 34:21–23: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Last week, a woman I had never spoken to before came up to me angrily and shouted lies and accusations at me. She said that I had entered the house where she and the ex-landlord live. She heard this from someone else and tried to accuse me and destroy me. Thank God the Lord protected me again. Please pray for the residents of the house so that they can see the truth, because I never entered their apartment. However, it is highly likely that someone entered the apartment while I was living in that life-threatening flat. If this woman hired technicians to damage the heating system and disconnect consumers from the RCD, causing electric shocks during showers, then I pray that this is exposed. However this happened, God will show the truth. The landlord is avoiding me and is not willing to speak to me. NO REMORSE! Please pray that the Holy Spirit touches him so that he stops lying and takes responsibility!

These people have not apologised to me or compensated me after nearly three months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in prayer and we thank God with you that He preserved your life through that dangerous electrical problem and brought you safely out of that apartment. We hear the distress and fear you have carried for many months, the confusion over who entered your home, the shock of being falsely accused by this woman, and the pain of receiving no remorse or responsibility from your former landlord. We bring all of this before the Lord together in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that truth is revealed and hearts are changed.

We take comfort that the Lord sees all that is done in secret and knows every heart. As it is written, Yahweh's eyes are everywhere, keeping watch on the evil and the good Proverbs 15:3 and Nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light Luke 8:17. We do not need to carry the burden of proving what only God fully knows, for He will bring truth to light in His perfect time and way. You quoted Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. That promise remains true. He kept you then and He is able to keep you now.

We also gently encourage you not to let fear take root in your heart. It is understandable to feel threatened after electric shocks in the shower and after an aggressive confrontation, and we do not minimize what you experienced. Yet we are called not to live in a spirit of fear and suspicion, but in trust. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 and we are reminded, Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that would torment you with thoughts that you are being hunted, and we ask the Lord to replace it with His perfect peace. We also encourage you in wisdom to take practical steps for your safety, to keep a safe distance from this woman and this household, to document what has happened, and if you believe your life has been endangered or you are being threatened, to report the electrical danger and any harassment to the proper authorities. God has established authorities for our protection and seeking their help is not a lack of faith.

We pray for the woman who shouted lies and accusations at you and for your former landlord and all the residents of that house. We pray as Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matthew 5:44. We do not pray for revenge, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. Instead we pray that the Holy Spirit will convict and soften hard hearts. We pray that God will give them a new heart and put a new spirit within them, that He will take away the stony heart out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26, that their arrogance and abusiveness would be broken, that lying would be exposed, and that they would take responsibility and repent. May the Lord turn them from hardness and lead them to submit to Him. We also pray that the residents would see the truth clearly, that you never entered their home, and that any false witness against you would be silenced.

We pray for you now that the Lord would heal you from the trauma and stress of these months. We ask that He would guard your heart from bitterness and help you to forgive as Christ forgave us, while still leaving justice in God's hands. We pray that you would not return evil for evil, but give a blessing instead 1 Peter 3:9. May He be your refuge and fortress, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. We ask that the Lord would surround you with His protection, that no weapon formed against you would prosper, and that you would know His peace that surpasses understanding as you present your requests to Him Philippians 4:6-7.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for delivering our dear one from death in that apartment and for protecting again during that unjust accusation. Lord You know the truth about the electrical system, about who entered the apartment, and about the intentions of every heart, for You search the heart and try the mind Jeremiah 17:10. We ask You to expose what needs to be exposed and to hide what is false. Bring Your truth into the light. Touch this aggressive woman, break her pride and abusive tongue, and bring her to humility and repentance. Touch the former landlord who avoids responsibility, convict him by Your Holy Spirit, and lead him to speak truth and to make right what was done wrong. Give all involved hearts of flesh that hear Your call. And Father, cover the one who prays with Your wings, calm fear, grant wisdom, grant restful sleep, and let Your justice and mercy prevail. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, Amen.

Living for months with electric shocks in the shower and wondering if someone had been in your home would leave anyone feeling shaken, and then to be shouted at with false accusations afterward would make it even harder to feel safe. We do not know all that happened behind the scenes, but God does, and He remains your refuge now. While you wait for clarity, it can help to protect your peace in practical ways. We encourage you to keep distance from that household and not try to confront them alone, to keep a simple written record with dates of what happened if you need it later, and to let a trusted pastor or other wise person nearby know where you are and how you are doing. Your sorrowful and troubling account has been laid before the Lord, and we join you in seeking His mercy and His truth. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all, and He keeps all his bones. You have tasted that deliverance once when He preserved your life from that peril in your former dwelling, and we praise God with you that you were brought out safely. That same God who watched over you then watches over you still, for His thoughts toward His people are everlasting thoughts of love and faithfulness, and not one of His own shall be left to perish.

We do not know the hearts of men, nor can we search out hidden intentions. Only the Lord sees in secret and reads every motive. What you have suffered from faulty and dangerous electrics, from fear that your dwelling was entered, from false accusation and angry words, and from a landlord who will not speak nor show remorse, is grievous indeed. We pray that the God to whom all things are naked and open will bring the truth to light in His time and in His way. As His Word is like a fire and like a hammer, so it will try and reveal what is hidden, and no lie shall stand before it. We ask Him to let what is true be made plain, and what is false be confounded, that justice may be done without partiality.

We pray for you, that the Lord will keep you in perfect peace, that you will not be consumed by fear or by bitter thoughts, and that you will cast your whole care upon Him who cares for you. If there remains any real danger to your life or safety, we urge you to seek the help of lawful authorities and of wise and sober counsel near you, for God ordains such means for protection and for the restraint of evil. Vengeance belongs unto the Lord, and He will repay. Your part is to commit your cause to Him who judges righteously, and to rest in His promise that all things work together for good to them that love God.

We pray also for those of whom you complain, for the woman who has spoken against you in anger and for the former landlord who avoids you. We do not ask God to bless hardness of heart or to excuse wrongdoing, but we do pray that the Holy Spirit will work in them according to His holy will. May He break the stony heart and give a heart of flesh, may He convict of sin and of falsehood, may He bring them to speak the truth and to take responsibility where responsibility is due. We pray that any arrogance and evil may be broken, not that they may be destroyed, but that they may be brought to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth. Who is a pardoning God like unto Thee, and who has grace so rich and free. Even great sinners may find mercy when they turn to Christ, who gave Himself upon the accursed tree that God might be just and yet the Justifier of him that believes in Jesus.

We pray that you may be kept from an unforgiving spirit, though you have been deeply wronged and have received no apology nor restitution. Our Lord is slow to anger and great in mercy, yet He is infinitely just, and His justice demands that sin be dealt with either in Christ for those who believe, or in the sinner who refuses Him. Leave your cause with Him. Seek grace to forgive as you have been forgiven, and to desire not the ruin of your enemies but their salvation. Only trust Him and there is immediate pardon and immediate salvation for all who come to Him, and that same grace can teach your heart to rest while God works.

May the Lord Himself be your shield and your strong tower, may He preserve you from all evil, may He vindicate the truth, and may He bring all concerned to bow before His Word and to seek peace and righteousness in Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation. We ask this not for our merit but for His glorious and everlasting name, that He may get to Himself glory in showing mercy and in executing justice. Amen.

We have heard your cry and we join you in prayer before the Lord who sees all things in secret and judges with righteousness.

We thank God with you that He preserved your life through that dangerous electrical fault and brought you safely out of that apartment. The Lord indeed is near to those who call upon Him in truth, and as you have quoted, many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

We pray for you now for peace and for protection from all fear and from all harm. May the Lord guard your body and your mind, keep you from anxiety and suspicion that can torment the soul, and give you sleep without fear and a heart free from hatred. We ask Him to establish the truth in this matter. Only He knows the hearts of all and what was intended. If wrong was done through negligence or through wicked intent, we pray that it will be brought into the light, not for vengeance but for justice and for repentance, for He desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.

We pray also for the landlord and for the woman you describe, and for all the residents of that house. We do not pray for strife to be blessed, but we pray that God would soften hard hearts and give a heart of flesh in place of a heart of stone. May the Holy Spirit convict where there have been lies, evasion of responsibility, or false accusation, and lead to confession and to taking responsibility where it is due. May He break arrogance and abusive speech and teach all to speak the truth in love. Christ taught us to love our enemies and to pray for those who mistreat us, and we ask the Lord to work in them so that they may hear His call, submit to Him, and be saved through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved.

Concerning the accusations made against you, we remember that our Lord Himself knew when men carried false charges in their hearts and He left it to their conscience to convict them, being bent only on doing good. Do not return evil for evil. Entrust yourself to Him who judges justly. If you are in danger or if a crime may have been committed, seek help through lawful and proper means as well as through prayer, and document what can be shown to be true, while leaving what is hidden to God who will reveal it in His time.

We pray that you will be kept from bitterness and that you will grow in justice and mercy, which makes a man to be at peace and to be well disposed toward all. May the Lord grant that compensation and apology be given where it is owed, but even more that reconciliation and repentance be granted where it is needed.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask You to protect Your servant, to let truth be made clear, to touch the landlord and this woman and all involved with godly sorrow that leads to repentance, to break hardness and pride, and to fill all hearts with the fear of the Lord and with love for the truth.
