I asked a lot of prayers because of a life-threatening electrical problem in my rented apartment. Thank God, I survived and moved out. But the story hasn't seemed to end there.
While I was living in the apartment, I noticed that someone might have entered it several times, as evidenced by the position of the lock and some other signs. After many months and much unclear communication, it seems possible that they intentionally tried to kill me. I don't know for sure. Only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions are, but it is written in Psalms 34:21–23: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Last week, a woman I had never spoken to before came up to me angrily and shouted lies and accusations at me. She said that I had entered the house where she and the ex-landlord live. She heard this from someone else and tried to accuse me and destroy me. Thank God the Lord protected me again. Please pray for the residents of the house so that they can see the truth, because I never entered their apartment. However, it is highly likely that someone entered the apartment while I was living in that life-threatening flat. If this woman hired technicians to damage the heating system and disconnect consumers from the RCD, causing electric shocks during showers, then I pray that this is exposed. However this happened, God will show the truth. The landlord is avoiding me and is not willing to speak to me. NO REMORSE! Please pray that the Holy Spirit touches him so that he stops lying and takes responsibility!

These people have not apologised to me or compensated me after nearly three months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

Update:
She cannot control herself and she is abusive. Please pray that God breaks her arrogance and evil.

We have read your request and we join with you in prayer before our Father in Jesus' name, asking for His protection, His truth to be revealed, and His justice and mercy to prevail.

We thank God with you that He preserved your life through that dangerous electrical situation and brought you out of that apartment. We see your distress over what may have happened, the signs that someone entered your dwelling, the painful false accusations from this woman you had never spoken to, and the landlord's avoidance and lack of remorse. It is right to bring all of this into the light before the Lord, for He sees what is done in secret and He knows every heart.

The Lord says in Jeremiah 17:10, I, Yahweh, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings. And Jesus said in Luke 8:17, For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. We do not need to live in torment trying to prove every hidden intent ourselves, for God will in His time expose what needs to be exposed. We also remember Psalm 34:19, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. And Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We want to gently encourage you while we pray. It is understandable to feel afraid when you have experienced shocks in the shower, a possible break-in, and now aggressive shouting and lies. Yet God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as it says in 2 Timothy 1:7. We encourage you not to let fear or suspicion consume your heart, but to cast your cares on Him and also to take wise, practical steps for your safety. If you believe your life was endangered by tampering with the heating system or the RCD, and if you believe your former apartment was entered unlawfully, we encourage you to document everything carefully and to seek help from the proper authorities in Hungary and from wise, godly counsel. God has ordained authorities to uphold justice, as it says in Romans 13:4, for he is a servant of God to you for good, and to execute wrath on the wrongdoer. Praying for truth does not replace using the lawful means God has provided for protection and accountability.

We also hear your prayer for the landlord and for this aggressive woman, and this is pleasing to the Lord. We are called not to repay evil for evil but to overcome evil with good. Romans 12:19 says, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. And our Lord Jesus said in Luke 6:27-28, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you. We must rebuke the arrogance, the abusive speech, the lying, and the hardness of heart you have described, for these things do not honor God, but we also pray for those who do them to be convicted and transformed. We ask God to break through that hardness and give a heart of flesh as He promises in Ezekiel 36:26.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and our access to Your throne, for there is salvation in no other name. We thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty as it says in Psalm 91:1, and we thank You that You command Your angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways according to Psalm 91:11. Lord, we ask You to surround our dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as promised in Philippians 4:6-7, and to quiet every fearful and anxious thought with Your perfect love.

Lord, You know the truth about the electrical danger, about whether anyone entered that apartment, about who may have tampered with the heating and safety devices, and about the false accusation that was shouted. We ask that You reveal what is true and expose what is false in Your perfect timing. Let no lie stand, and let no hidden wrong remain covered. Bring conviction where there has been deceit, negligence, or intent to harm, and bring repentance where there has been hardness. Touch the heart of this landlord who is avoiding responsibility, that he would stop lying and take responsibility for what happened. Touch this woman who has acted in aggression and abuse, break her arrogance and her evil speech, and bring her to humility and to the knowledge of the truth. We pray for all the residents of that house, that their eyes would be opened and they would not be led by gossip or false reports.

Father, we also pray for justice tempered with mercy. If wrongdoing was done, we pray that it would be dealt with justly through the proper authorities, and that restitution would be made where it is due. But more than compensation, we pray for salvation and transformation, that these people would hear Your call, submit to You, and receive hearts of flesh that hear Your voice. And for our dear one who has been hurt and is still carrying this burden after nearly three months, we ask You to heal the trauma, to guard against bitterness, to grant wisdom for every next step, and to provide godly counsel and support nearby. Help our dear one to forgive as You have forgiven us, while still wisely seeking truth and protection, and to rest in the knowledge that You are the righteous Judge who will not forsake those who trust in You.

We commit this entire situation into Your hands, trusting that You are the Spirit of truth who guides us into all truth as Jesus promised in John 16:13, and that Jesus Himself is the way, the truth, and the life as He said in John 14:6. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our deliverer, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily, to stay in the Word, to pray without ceasing, and to walk in fellowship with mature believers who can support you locally. Keep entrusting your cause to Him who judges righteously, pursue peace as far as it depends on you according to Romans 12:18, and let your testimony be one of trusting God both for protection and for justice while showing the love of Christ even to those who have wronged you.

We have been sitting with your story and we can hear how much you have carried. Surviving a dangerous electrical problem in your apartment, having to move, and then being shouted at and falsely accused by someone you had never even spoken to would leave anyone feeling on edge and wanting the truth to be clearly seen. It makes sense you are still asking questions and longing for honesty and responsibility after months without an apology or any resolution.

When we have been through something frightening where we felt unsafe in our own home, our minds and bodies can stay on high alert for a long time, scanning for danger and trying to piece together what happened. It does not mean your concerns are not real, but it can help to not carry all of those questions alone.

One steady next step we would encourage is to walk through what happened with one trusted person near you, a pastor or another wise, grounded counselor, who can listen, help you sort what is documented and what is still unclear, and think with you about safe, wise ways to seek truth and peace. If you ever feel unsafe, please reach out right away to someone local you trust.

Father, we bring our brother before You in Jesus' name. We thank You that You kept him and brought him out of that apartment. We ask You to guard him now with Your peace, to give him wisdom, clarity and rest, and to surround him with trustworthy support. We pray for the former landlord and for this woman and the other residents, that hearts would be softened toward truth and toward You. Lead our brother step by step and keep him secure in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is good that you have brought this burden to the mercy seat, for there is One who hears and who knows what is in the hearts of men. You have passed through a great danger in that apartment, and the Lord has delivered you out of it. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all, and He keeps all his bones. That you were preserved through the electrical peril is of His mercy, and we give thanks with you for that deliverance.

You speak also of fear, of the dread that evil has been purposed against you, of slander and false accusation, and of those who will not speak truth nor show remorse. This is a sharp trial, and it is natural that the heart should be troubled. Yet hear what the Lord says so often in His garden, Fear not, for I am with you. Fear not, for I will help you. Fear not, you worm Jacob. It is not the preacher only who cries Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers it to His servant fallen as dead at His feet. To give way to fear is weakening and it dishonors God, as though that arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. Labor then to get rid of fear by trust in promised strength. Fear not them which kill the body and are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. This is meant to remove the fear arising out of sharp persecution. When hell assails, flee into your Saviour's breast, and look unto Jesus, for it is by looking unto Him that we are delivered from the bondage that comes through fear of death. In proportion as faith grows strong, fear will vanish.

Persecution in whatever form it comes, even when it takes not the form of imprisonment but of slander and cruel mocking and venomous spite, has its use in the hand of God. It helps to keep up the separation between the church and the world, and often it drives the Christian nearer to his God. How many prayers have been offered as the result of persecution that would never have been offered else, heaven alone can tell. God has blessed His people by their persecution, and He will perfect that which concerns you. That comprehensive word holds all your concerns, be it protection, be it vindication, be it the softening of hard hearts.

We will pray with you that the truth may be made plain. The Lord brings hidden things to light, and nothing is hid that shall not be known. We pray that if wrong has been done in that house, it may be exposed in His time and by His means, and that justice may be done without your hand avenging itself. We pray also for those who have accused you falsely and for the landlord who avoids you. It is right to pray that the Holy Spirit would touch them, that He would take away the stony heart and give a heart of flesh, that hardness and arrogance and abusive speech may be broken, not that they may be destroyed, but that they may be brought to repentance and to the fear of the Lord which is holy reverence and awe. That fear does not come by threatening alone, but where forgiveness is known through the precious blood of Christ. He went up to the accursed tree and freely gave Himself to die a felon's death so that God might be just and yet the Justifier of him that believes in Jesus. Pray for them that they may know that forgiveness, for then the fear of God will be put in their hearts that they shall not depart from Him.

Do not return evil for evil. Commit your cause to Him who judges righteously. Continue in prayer, walk in truth, and seek wise and lawful help for your safety. Let those who have care for your welfare know where you are, keep a faithful record of what has happened, and if you are in danger seek the protection of those appointed to keep peace. Above all, rest in the Lord who will perfect that which concerns you.

We pray now for you. O Lord our God, You know this Your servant and all that has befallen him. You saw the danger in that dwelling and You delivered him. Keep him still under the shadow of Your wing. Remove tormenting fear and give perfect love which casts out fear. Let truth shine forth and let no lie stand. Have mercy upon those who have spoken falsely and upon him who will not take responsibility. Break their hardness, give them hearts of flesh, bring them to confess and to forsake sin, and bring them to know forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. Cause Your servant to hear Your voice saying Fear not, I will help you, and to go forward in quiet confidence, looking unto Jesus, until You perfect all that concerns him. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have received your request and we are praying with you, thanking God that He preserved your life through that dangerous electrical problem and brought you safely out of that apartment.

We hear how heavy this has remained for you. The fear that someone may have entered your home, the questions about whether the electrical danger was intentional, the shock of being confronted and falsely accused by someone you had never spoken to, and the pain of a landlord who will not speak with you or take responsibility. It is understandable that you feel unsafe and that you long for truth to be made clear.

Only God knows what is in the heart and what the intentions of others truly were. As you said, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all, and He keeps watch over His people. We pray that He will continue to be your refuge and your protector, and that He will bring what is hidden into the light in His time and in His way.

Scripture warns us to be careful about judgments formed on suspicion. The law says that a matter shall be established at the mouth of two or three witnesses, and that we should not receive an accusation lightly. Wisdom also says to reprove or question a neighbor, lest perhaps he did not say it or did not do it, and if he did, that he may not add to it. This does not mean your concerns are not real, but it means we should not settle in our minds that evil intent is certain when we do not have clear evidence. Suspicion can weigh down the soul and lead us into fear, so we pray that God will guard you from both danger and from the torment of unresolved suspicion.

We also hear your desire for justice and for repentance. It is right to want wrongdoing to be exposed if it happened, and it is right to want those who have harmed you to take responsibility. We pray that if any technician or landlord acted negligently or deliberately to create danger by tampering with the heating system or disconnecting protection, that the truth would be shown through proper inspection, honest testimony, and lawful inquiry. We encourage you, where you can, to keep any records, photos, or reports from electricians, and to seek help through appropriate and lawful channels for housing and safety matters in Hungary, rather than carrying this burden alone.

At the same time we are called to do good even to those who sin against us, leaving their conscience to God while we seek what is good and true. So we pray not only for your protection and for vindication where you have been falsely accused, but also for the woman who confronted you and for the former landlord and the other residents of the house.

We pray for you, that the Lord would give you peace that guards your heart and mind in Christ, that He would free you from fear, that He would provide for your present housing and needs, and that He would help you to release bitterness while still seeking truth in a wise and orderly way.

We pray for the woman who accused you, that God would break any arrogance or abusive speech, that He would convict her where she has spoken falsely, and that He would lead her to truth and to a gentler spirit.

We pray for your former landlord, that the Holy Spirit would soften hardness of heart, give a heart of flesh in place of a heart of stone, bring conviction where there has been lying or avoidance, and move him to take responsibility and to make restitution where it is due.

We pray for all the residents of that house, that they would come to know the truth, that false reports would not take root among them, and that they would act with fairness and honesty toward you and toward one another.

We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, the only way of salvation, to deliver you from every evil work, to establish your steps, to let truth be established by faithful witnesses, and to bring reconciliation where it is possible and justice where it is needed. May He keep you from idle or false accusations on any side, for we will give account for our words, and may He help you to walk in love, in wisdom, and in courage, not rushing into needless danger, but also not giving in to fear when you are called to stand for what is right.

We continue to hold you before the Lord, asking that you would know His nearness, His protection, and His power to heal and restore.
