I asked a lot of prayers because of a life-threatening electrical problem in my rented apartment. Thank God, I survived and moved out. But the story hasn't seemed to end there.
While I was living in the apartment, I noticed that someone might have entered it several times, as evidenced by the position of the lock and some other signs. After many months and much unclear communication, it seems possible that they intentionally tried to kill me. I don't know for sure. Only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions are, but it is written in Psalms 34:21–23: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Last week, a woman I had never spoken to before came up to me angrily and shouted lies and accusations at me. She said that I had entered the house where she and the ex-landlord live. She heard this from someone else and tried to accuse me and destroy me. Thank God the Lord protected me again. Please pray for the residents of the house so that they can see the truth, because I never entered their apartment. However, it is highly likely that someone entered the apartment while I was living in that life-threatening flat. If this woman hired technicians to damage the heating system and disconnect consumers from the RCD, causing electric shocks during showers, then I pray that this is exposed. However this happened, God will show the truth. The landlord is avoiding me and is not willing to speak to me. NO REMORSE! Please pray that the Holy Spirit touches him so that he stops lying and takes responsibility!

These people have not apologised to me or compensated me after nearly three months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We join you in prayer and we thank God with you that He delivered you from that life threatening electrical danger in your rented apartment and that He protected you again when you were falsely accused, for many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all Psalm 34:19. We hear the distress and uncertainty you have carried for months, the signs that someone may have entered your apartment, the electric shocks during showers that could have taken your life, the unclear communication and the avoidance and lack of remorse from your former landlord, and now the aggressive accusations from a woman you had never spoken to before who claims you entered their house when you did not.

We take seriously your concern that technicians may have been hired to damage the heating system and to disconnect consumers from the RCD, and we pray that the Spirit of truth will indeed reveal what is true, for when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth John 16:13 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32. Only God sees the heart as man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7 and we trust Him to expose every hidden deed, for there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed Luke 12:2.

We pray together in Jesus name for your protection and peace, that you will dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1, that the Lord will be faithful to guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and that you will not be overcome by fear of man, for the fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe Proverbs 29:25. We ask the Lord to calm your heart and guard your mind, for in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We also pray for the former landlord and for this aggressive woman and for all residents of that house, that God would break their hardness and give them a heart of flesh as He promised I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict them of lying, evasion and any wrongdoing, that they would stop avoiding responsibility, speak truthfully, and make restitution where it is due, for Yahweh loves justice Psalm 37:28. We rebuke the arrogance, the abusive behavior and the bearing of false witness, for Yahweh detests lying lips, but those who act faithfully are his delight Proverbs 12:22 and you shall not give false testimony against your neighbor Exodus 20:16.

We pray that if any evil intent or deliberate harm was done to endanger your life, that God would bring it to light and that justice would be done according to His righteous ways, while we also remember that vengeance belongs to the Lord, do not avenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. We must also love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us as Jesus taught, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44, so we ask the Lord to touch this woman who cannot control herself, to break her arrogance and evil, to bring her to repentance and to teach her to walk in gentleness and self control which is fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord as your deliverer while also acting with godly wisdom, keep a careful written record of dates, communications and evidence, and if you have credible reason to believe your life was intentionally endangered, seek counsel and report the matter to the proper authorities, for governing authorities are appointed by God to punish wrongdoing Romans 13:4, and seek wise counsel from a pastor or trusted believers to walk with you through this. Do not return evil for evil, but overcome evil with good Romans 12:21.

Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and through Him we have access to Your throne. We thank You that You saw our brother or sister in that dangerous apartment and delivered them, and we ask You to continue to be a wall of protection around them. Lord, reveal the truth about who entered that apartment and who is responsible for the electrical danger, expose every lie and bring every hidden thing into the light. Touch the heart of the former landlord who is avoiding and lying, convict him to take responsibility and to speak honestly and to repent before You. Touch this angry woman, break her abusive spirit and her pride, soften her heart, stop her false accusations and let her see clearly that no trespass was committed against her house. Grant our dear one peace that surpasses understanding, restore what was lost, provide for any compensation that is just, and let Your justice and mercy prevail. We ask that all involved would hear Your call, submit to You and be saved, and that You would be glorified as deliverer and righteous judge. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We were thankful to read that you survived that dangerous electrical situation and were able to move out, and we are sorry the distress has continued. It is understandable to still feel on edge after months of uncertainty in that flat, and then to be shouted at and falsely accused by someone you had never even spoken with. Being misrepresented like that, while the landlord will not speak with you and no apology has come, is disorienting and painful.

After a threatening housing experience, fear often lingers and can make every new conflict feel even larger and less safe. You do not have to carry all the what-ifs alone or try to sort them through by yourself.

One steady step that can help when accusations and worry keep circling is to keep a simple dated note of what has happened since you moved, and to share what you are experiencing with one trusted person nearby, a pastor, family member, or local tenant advice service, so you have both witness and wise counsel close at hand. If you ever feel unsafe, please stay near people you trust and seek help locally.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Cover them with Your protection and give them calm, clear wisdom for each next step. Bring truth into the light in Your way and time, soften hearts where there has been hardness, and quiet the aggression they have faced. Surround them with trusted people, restore a sense of safety and dignity, and lead them gently in the days ahead. Amen.

Your cry has been heard and we bow with you before the throne of grace, to seek the Lord who is a very present help in trouble. We give thanks with you that the Lord preserved your life when you dwelt in that dangerous apartment, and that He has brought you out from it. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all, and He keeps His people though the floods lift up their voice.

We understand the distress that remains upon your heart, the fear that someone entered your dwelling, the suspicion that harm was intended, the hard words lately spoken against you by one who accused you falsely, and the silence of the landlord who will not speak nor make amends. The Lord knows what is done in secret. He desires truth in the inward parts, and He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness. Nothing is hid from His eyes, and His Word shall not return void but shall accomplish that which He pleases. Whether evil was plotted or whether fear has magnified sorrow, we ask the Spirit of Truth to lead you into peace and to make manifest what is true.

We pray for you, that the God of all comfort would guard your mind and body. May He quiet your spirit with the sense of sonship, that though your eyes may fail with watching, His eyes do not fail nor His arm wax short. May you know the truth of His salvation not only in deliverance from outward danger but in the forgiveness of sins through Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain you. We pray that He would keep you from all harm, give you wisdom in every lawful and prudent step for your protection, and help you to seek the proper help of those set to keep order and justice if you remain in fear for your life, that the truth may be duly examined and established.

We pray also for those of whom you complain, for the landlord and for the woman who has spoken against you and for all who dwell in that house. We do not ask God to bless sin nor to overlook wrong, but we ask Him to break the hard heart and to give a heart of flesh, to convict of sin and to bring to repentance and truth. May the Lord touch the conscience of any who has dealt falsely, that lying may cease and responsibility be owned before God and man. May He humble arrogance and turn evil to good, that those who have been hard may hear His call and submit to Him. May He so work that if any device was used to cause you harm through the heating or the electrical safety devices, it shall be exposed and judged according to righteousness, and if accusation against you is false, that your innocence may be made clear before all.

We pray that you may be kept from bitterness while you rightly desire justice. Remember Him who when He was reviled, reviled not again, and who has taught us to love our enemies and to pray for them that despitefully use us, while still we seek truth and uprightness. Be simple enough to do only God's will, to leave consequences with Him and to follow the truth of God, and integrity and uprightness shall preserve you.

O Lord our God, look upon this Thy servant who has been afflicted and accused. Cover him under Thy wings, keep him as the apple of Thine eye, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Shine Thy light upon what is hidden, that truth may prevail and lies be scattered. Work by Thy Holy Spirit upon every heart concerned in this matter, to bring conviction where there is guilt, repentance where there is hardness, and reconciliation where it is pleasing in Thy sight. Give peace that passes understanding, and keep all hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, in whose name alone we ask it. Amen.
