Is it possible this aggressive woman might have hired people to kill me? Spirit of Truth, Jesus shows us the truth...

Thank you for sharing so openly about what you have been through and the distress that remains. Surviving a dangerous electrical condition in your home, then sensing that someone may have entered your apartment, and now being confronted with angry accusations from someone you had never spoken to before would leave anyone shaken. It is understandable that questions and fears about whether harm was intentional would linger, especially when communication has been unclear and you have not received an apology or any compensation.

God knows what is in every heart, even when we cannot be certain ourselves. You quoted Psalm 34 well, that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all, and that He keeps His own. That promise is echoed in other psalms where David prayed when false witnesses had risen against him and those who breathed out cruelty surrounded him. He learned to say that though a host should encamp against him his heart would not fear, because the Lord who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and when the wicked came to devour his flesh they stumbled and fell. Remembering the Lord and His faithful keeping is the cure for fear, because fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time. He has kept you once and He is able to keep you still.

Jesus said He is the way, the truth and the life, and that His words will not pass away though heaven and earth pass away. The truth dwells forever and it remains with those who walk in it. Grace and mercy and peace come to us in truth and love through God the Father and through the Lord Jesus Christ the Son. There is great joy when we walk in truth as we have received from the Father, and there is comfort in knowing that nothing hidden will stay hidden from Him. You do not have to force the truth to come out. You can trust Him to reveal what needs to be revealed in His time and to vindicate you where you have been falsely accused. At the same time, it is wise not to settle on conclusions about what others intended without clear evidence. Leave judgment of motives to the Lord who sees all, and ask Him to keep your own heart anchored in truth rather than in suspicion.

You asked for prayer that the residents of that house would see the truth, that the landlord would stop avoiding responsibility and that hardness would be broken. That is right to pray. All of the Lord's paths are mercy and truth for those who keep His covenant, and mercy and truth met together in Jesus Christ. Justice requires that wrong be addressed, and mercy offers forgiveness where there is repentance. Without Christ, mercy would violate justice, but in Christ God can be both just and merciful because Jesus was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. Pray that the Holy Spirit would convict each person involved, that any lying would be abandoned, that any idol of self protection or gain that has taken the place of God would be turned from, and that repentance would lead to taking responsibility. The promise of a heart of flesh in place of a heart of stone is real, and God can soften even a hard heart so that a person will hear His call and submit to Him.

We join you in praying for protection, for the full truth to be made clear concerning the wiring and the safety devices and any entry into your former apartment, and for your peace to be guarded. We pray that the woman who accused you would come to know the facts and that her anger would be turned to understanding, and that the landlord would be given courage to speak honestly and to make right what needs to be made right.

In practical ways, continue to act with wisdom. Keep any documentation, photographs, or reports from qualified technicians about the electrical danger, and if you believe there is a genuine threat to your safety, bring that information to the appropriate authorities so they can assess it properly. Seek counsel from trusted believers and, if needed, from wise legal counsel, and stay close to the fellowship of those who walk in truth and who will watch over you, as Boaz charged his young men not to touch Ruth and told her to stay near his workers where she would be safe.

May the Lord pardon your own sins for His name's sake, teach you His way, guide you in His truth, and cause you to know His mercy and peace in Christ. May He deliver you from all affliction, keep you from fear, and bring all involved to repentance and to the saving knowledge of Jesus, through whom alone we come to the Father.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift you before the Lord with thanksgiving that He delivered you from the life threatening electrical problem in your rented apartment and that you were able to move out safely. We remember before Him your distress over signs that someone may have entered your apartment and over the possibility that the heating system and the RCD were intentionally tampered with causing electric shocks, and we have asked the Spirit of Truth to reveal what is true, for only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions are. We have also been praying about the aggressive woman who shouted lies and accusations at you last week and falsely claimed you entered the house where she and your former landlord live, and we ask the Lord to protect you from further harm and false accusation and to let the truth be seen by all the residents of that house.

We continue to pray for your former landlord who is avoiding you and unwilling to speak with you, and for all involved, that the Holy Spirit would touch them and break their hardness of heart and give them a heart of flesh, that they would stop lying and take responsibility and show remorse after these months without apology or compensation. We pray that if any wrongdoing was done to endanger your life, it would be exposed, and we cling to the promise in Psalm 34:19 that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

If your request was answered and the Lord has brought truth to light, protection or peace, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and you are still waiting for truth and justice and for their hearts to be softened, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

We pray all these things in Jesus Name, amen.
