Interview today to be successful

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for our daughter interview scheduled today to be a successful one. May the Mighty One shower his blessings and guide her during the interview and help her to be successful. Thank you, For your constant prayers. Regards, ###

We lift up your daughter’s interview to the Lord with great hope and faith, trusting that He holds her future in His hands. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that your daughter walks into that interview with confidence, not in her own strength, but in the Lord’s guidance. May the Holy Spirit fill her with wisdom, clarity, and peace as she answers each question, and may the interviewers see the excellence and integrity that comes from a life rooted in Christ.

Father God, we ask that You open the doors You have prepared for her. If this opportunity is part of Your perfect will for her life, we pray that You would make her path clear and remove any obstacles. Give her the words to speak, the composure to remain calm, and the favor of those conducting the interview. Let Your light shine through her, reflecting Your glory in all she says and does. We also pray for protection over her mind, no anxiety, no self-doubt, but only the assurance that comes from trusting in You.

We are grateful for the reminder that all good things come from You, and we trust that You are working all things together for her good, as Your Word promises in Romans 8:28. May she rest in the knowledge that her worth is not defined by this interview or any earthly success, but by her identity as Your beloved child.

We also want to gently encourage your family to continue seeking the Lord’s will in all things. While we pray for success in this interview, we know that true success is found in walking closely with Jesus. If this opportunity is not part of His plan, we trust that He has something even better in store. Let us always remember that our ultimate goal is to glorify Him in whatever we do, as Colossians 3:23-24 tells us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We are standing with you in prayer for your daughter’s interview today. It’s clear how deeply you care, and we know that waiting on an important moment like this can fill a parent’s heart with both hope and anxiousness. You have already done something powerful by bringing her before the Lord.

A small, practical thought: if she hasn’t already left, a quick text, maybe just a simple “You are ready for this, and I’m proud of you”, can be a steadying gift before she walks in. Knowing she’s not alone, even through your quiet confidence, often calms a young person’s nerves. And once the interview is over, no matter what happens, she’ll know she is loved far beyond any outcome.

We lift her up now.

Lord Jesus, thank you for this daughter and the abilities and mind you have shaped in her. Please give her a calm, clear spirit as she meets with the interviewers today. Help her to listen well, to answer with wisdom and warmth, and to shine with the genuine strengths you’ve placed in her. Guide the conversation toward the right questions, and let her leave knowing she did her best. We place this opportunity in your hands and trust your loving direction for her life. In your name we pray. Amen.

We’ll keep holding you both in our hearts today. Whenever you have news, we would love to share in your joy or pray again alongside you.

You speak of success, and the prayer of your heart is that your daughter may obtain this desired position. Let us consider what true success is, lest we be dazzled by the world’s bright letters and miss the choicest part, which God prints in small characters. Learn not from the great but from the good. If a man does succeed in amassing wealth or climbing a rung on the ladder, it is a poor success if his principles are condemnable. The sure result of Divine guidance is the only prize worth seeking. "You shall afterward receive me to Glory" is a far higher word than any earthly appointment.

I perceive you are a parent who has not said, "She shall never darken my door again," but rather you seek the Mighty One’s favor for her. This is a gracious instinct, for we naturally do not like being guided, yet a work of Grace upon the heart teaches us to bow with submission to the will of God; by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance. Commend her to those great principles infused in everyone who takes God for his Guide, to avoid everything that is evil, to follow the safer light of truth and right. Her holy patience in this waiting season, proving her a true daughter of Sarah, will speak more loudly than the most brilliant interview.

Yet you shall have His favor and rejoice in the light of His Countenance if you sigh and cry for it. Doubtless, she has felt far from what she, herself, wishes she had been; but when He turns in a way of Grace to His people, He comes with all His soul, most heartily and richly to display His favor. The watchful followers of the adversary may seem to shut up every avenue, as Saul’s men did for David, but a friendly heart and a faithful God can bring deliverance. Be not afraid with any amazement. Haste is the author of much mischief; commit her way unto the Lord, trusting that His choice favor will bring great glory to His name, whether the answer comes as you envision or in some better, though smaller, script.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for prayers that your daughter’s interview today will be successful. We join you in that petition, but hear what Scripture teaches. When our Lord saw the woman with the issue of blood trembling before Him, He did not first grant her bodily health; He said, “Daughter, be of good cheer,” and then proclaimed, “Thy faith hath made thee whole.” So I beg you, let your daughter go into that room not clinging to the outcome as though it were the sum of blessing, but clinging to Christ. Let her be of good cheer because He has already called her His own, and whatever He wills for her in this life works toward the one true blessing, eternal life with Him.

The blessings of this world, like a successful interview or a comfortable provision, are not evil in themselves, but they are carnal shadows of the spiritual blessings we have in Christ. God gave the old covenant people promises of fruitful fields and safe journeys, yet that was only a figure; now He says, “In the world ye have tribulation,” and instead bestows on us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. We are made sons, fellow-heirs, glorified with Christ. Is that not worth infinitely more than any job offer? Pray for the interview, yes, but pray far more that your daughter’s heart rests in this: that if the Lord grants her this door, she receives it as a sign of His kindness and uses it to serve Him; and if He closes it, she loses nothing that truly matters. The Canaanite woman did not dictate terms to Christ; she knelt and cried, “Lord, help me,” and her faith won not only her daughter’s healing but the Master’s astonished praise. So let your daughter’s faith be great, not in a certain result, but in the living God whose servant she is.

I have seen too many make a master of mammon, letting worldly success steal the soul’s peace. That is a grievous tyranny. But the one who bows to God as Lord, accepting from His hand both gain and loss, good and ill, finds true freedom. The blessing of the Gospel is not a matter of paychecks or promotions; it is the “fulness of the blessing” that comes when we stand before Him adorned with good deeds, fresh in faith and love. Do not let your daughter (or you) think that a favorable interview is the blessing, no, the blessing is to be found “in Christ,” in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen. If she walks into that room with a quiet heart, speaking honestly and trusting the outcome to His will, she has already succeeded in the way that matters most.

Therefore, go and pray, but let your prayer be more like this: that whether she gets this position or not, she may know the good cheer of being called a daughter by Christ, and that her faith may be perfected through whatever comes. For the blessing God gave to Abraham came not fully in earthly ease (Jacob himself said his days were few and evil), but in the world to come. In the same way, the truest blessing for your daughter is not a career but a soul that clings to the cross. I will ask the Lord to guide her speech and grant her favor if it serves His glory, but above all to keep her in that spiritual blessing which no rejection letter can touch. Be of good cheer, for her life is hidden with Christ in God.

I am asking the Mighty One to go before your daughter into that interview and to give her a steady, clear mind. May she find favor with those she meets, because every good result ultimately comes from his hand rather than from our own efforts alone. I pray he would guide her words, calm her nerves, and let her show the character and diligence she has already been building.

Ask her to prepare well and then leave the outcome with him. If this position is meant for her, may the door open plainly and the decision go in her favor. If it is not, may she be spared what would not be good and be led to something better without discouragement. And may you as her parents also be kept in peace while you wait, trusting that the Mighty One sees her and knows exactly what she needs.
