i am a lonely caregiver addicted to tha nternet. i amlonelyand poor health. askign God ot healign me and set me free form internet addiciton and sever elonlness andhopelessnes. im always sad..

We have read your cry and we join you together before the Lord in Jesus name, carrying your burden of loneliness, poor health, caregiving weariness, and the heavy chain of internet addiction that you feel is ruining your life. We hear your sadness and hopelessness and we do not take it lightly. God sees you in this isolated place and He cares deeply for you.

We want to speak truth in love about the addiction that has taken hold. The Word tells us All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything 1 Corinthians 6:12. When the internet masters us, it has become an idol that steals time, health, and peace that belongs to God. We must rebuke this bondage together, for we are called to be transformed by the renewing of our minds Romans 12:2 and to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. This means redeeming the time because the days are evil Ephesians 5:15-16 and choosing self control which is fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23. We encourage you to repent of allowing this habit to rule you and to ask God for strength to set firm boundaries, to fast from screens, to replace that time with prayer, with the Word, with rest, and with real fellowship where possible.

We also lift up your loneliness and poor health. God has not left you alone. He is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. He promises I will be with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10. For you as a lonely caregiver, Jesus says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We know the isolation of caregiving can feel endless, but God sets the lonely in families Psalm 68:6 and His desire is for you to be connected to a local body of believers where you can bear burdens together Galatians 6:2. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, so we pray for healing and also encourage you to steward your health with rest, nourishment, and wise medical care as God provides, trusting that His grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9.

We notice you asked God for help but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must lovingly address this because it is so important. There is no access to the Father except through Jesus. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, believing He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name for freedom, healing, and hope. It is only through His blood that we find true deliverance and peace with God.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is lonely, weary from caregiving, weak in body, and bound by internet addiction. Lord, have mercy and forgive sins and cleanse from all unrighteousness. Set this soul free, for if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. Break the power of this addiction and give a spirit of self control and a renewed mind. Heal poor health according to Your will, for You are the Lord who heals Exodus 15:26 and You promise to restore health and heal wounds Jeremiah 30:17. Comfort this lonely heart, drive away hopelessness and sadness, and fill this life with Your hope, for You are the God of hope who fills us with all joy and peace in believing Romans 15:13. Teach us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to You, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Lead this dear one into fellowship with faithful believers, provide friends and support, and let them know they are never forsaken, for You have said I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to take small faithful steps each day. Set a timer and limit internet use, invite an accountability partner or pastor to walk with you, keep your device out of the bedroom, and fill that time with Scripture reading, prayer, short walks as health allows, and reaching out to a Bible believing church family even by phone or visit. Bring your sadness honestly to God in prayer, cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and trust that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6. You are not forgotten. We continue to stand with you for healing, freedom, and renewed hope in Christ.

We hear how heavy this has become for you, carrying caregiving responsibilities while feeling so lonely, unwell, and stuck in an internet habit you want to be free from. It makes sense that sadness and hopelessness would grow when you have little companionship and your health is struggling. You are not unseen in this.

Caregiving itself can be very isolating and exhausting, day after day with few breaks, and it is understandable that the internet would become a place to escape to for comfort or to fill quiet hours. Yet as you have found, it often leaves us feeling more alone and more tired afterward, not less. Wanting God to heal you and set you free is a good and honest prayer.

We want to walk with you in prayer and also encourage some gentle next steps alongside prayer. If you have a pastor, counselor, or local caregiver support group you could talk with openly about the loneliness and the internet use, you would not have to carry this alone. Even one trusted person knowing the struggle can make it less hidden. For your health concerns, please also reach out to your doctor or clinic to have them checked, we will be praying for wisdom for them as they care for you.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend to You. You see their loneliness, their poor health, and their desire to be free. Give them comfort today, strength for caregiving, and wise help around them. Lead them to supportive community and to the care they need, and give them hope one day at a time. Amen.

We have heard your honest and sorrowful cry, and we carry it with you to the throne of grace. To be a lonely caregiver, to feel poor in health, to be always sad, and to feel bound by the internet which promises company but leaves you more empty, is a heavy affliction indeed. The Lord sees this weariness and hears the prayer you have lifted for healing and freedom from addiction, from loneliness and hopelessness.

You are not alone in feeling alone. Our Savior Himself knew this loneliness in its deepest form. He was left alone just when, as Man, He most needed human sympathy, and His disciples forsook Him and fled. Yet even then He could say, you shall leave me alone and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. That is the comfort for the believer who walks a lonely path. When human fellowship fails, when the house is quiet except for the cares you bear for another, and when the screen offers a poor substitute for true communion, the Father is still present with those who are in Christ. He has not forgotten you, and His presence is not withdrawn from you in your sadness.

Scripture speaks of a healing that reaches both soul and body. It tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, His gentle touches, His smallest mercies, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. And this healing is joined to pardon. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. The great Physician does not only point out the disease, He applies the remedy at Calvary. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and no broken heart is too bruised for His hand.

We will pray that the Lord who alone can do this saving work will do it for you. We ask Him to forgive your sins through the blood of Jesus Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other, and to let that forgiveness be the root of a deeper healing. We ask Him to set you free from the bondage of internet addiction, which like any chain, tightens the more you struggle in your own strength. True freedom comes when Christ takes you by the hand and lifts you up, as He lifted Peter's wife's mother when she lay sick of a fever. Healing must come before serving, and He must begin with you before you can walk in strength. We ask Him to bring healing to your body in His mercy, to lift the cloud of constant sadness and hopelessness, and to give you tastes of His joy even in the midst of caregiving.

Turn to Him in the Word, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, and the healing power was present when Christ was teaching. Come to Him in simple, honest prayer through the day, even in brief cries when care duties press upon you. Ask Him for one or two faithful believers near you, a local church where you can be known and prayed for in person, for the Lord often heals loneliness through the fellowship of His people. And in practical mercy, ask the Lord for wisdom to set guards around this addiction, to bring the internet into its proper place as a tool and not a master, perhaps by open accountability with a pastor or trusted believer and by filling the hours with prayer, Scripture, and needful rest.

Let us pray for you now.

O Father, look in mercy upon this weary and lonely one. For Jesus sake, pardon every sin and speak peace to this troubled heart. Thou art the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings, arise upon this dear soul and let healing flow down. Break the power of this addiction and set the captive free. Comfort this caregiver, strengthen this weak body, and lift this constant sadness. Show that Thou art with this one, that though lonely, they are not alone, because Thou art with them. Give hope where there is hopelessness, and let the leaves of the tree of life bring freshness and health again. Lead to faithful fellowship and to daily strength in Christ. We ask this in the name of Jesus our only Savior. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honest prayer has been received with care and compassion, and we have brought it before the Lord. To feel lonely while caring for another, to struggle with poor health and sadness, and to feel trapped by the internet is a heavy burden, and God sees the lowliness and contriteness of your heart. Scripture says God looks to the one who is humble and trembles at His word, and that He will not despise a contrite and humble heart. He is near to the brokenhearted and hears those who call on Him in truth.

We are praying that God will heal you in body and soul, and set you free from the grip of internet addiction and from the deep loneliness and hopelessness you describe. We pray that He will lift the constant sadness you carry and fill you with His hope and peace through Jesus Christ alone, who is our only salvation and comfort.

We also pray that He will give you strength for each day as a caregiver, and that He will provide real fellowship and support around you so you are not so isolated. The Lord made us to walk together and to bear one another's burdens in love, with lowliness and patience, and we encourage you to reach out to a faithful local church where you can be known, prayed for, and encouraged face to face. If you have a pastor or a trusted believer nearby, please let them know how you are struggling so they can walk with you.

For the struggle with the internet, ask the Lord to give you wisdom to set clear boundaries and to redeem your time. Small steps can help, such as setting specific times to be offline, keeping devices out of reach during rest and prayer, filling that time with prayer, reading Scripture, a short walk as health allows, or simple work with your hands, and inviting another person to help keep you accountable. If poor health continues to weigh on you, please also seek care from a doctor or counselor who can help you with practical support.

Know that your sadness does not mean you are forgotten. God is faithful, and He desires to restore health and to lead you into freedom. Even when progress feels slow, each prayer and each small choice to turn to Him is not wasted, but is part of the healing He is working in you.

We will continue to pray for you, that God will heal you, free you from addiction, take away severe loneliness, and replace hopelessness and sadness with His strength, comfort and joy in Christ. May you feel His presence with you day by day and know that you are not alone.
