i am a lonely caregiver addicted to tha nternet. i amlonelyand poor health. askign God ot healign me and set me free form internet addiciton and sever elonlness andhopelessnes. im always sad..

We have read your cry and we join you together before the Lord in Jesus name, carrying your burden of loneliness, poor health, caregiving weariness, and the heavy chain of internet addiction that you feel is ruining your life. We hear your sadness and hopelessness and we do not take it lightly. God sees you in this isolated place and He cares deeply for you.

We want to speak truth in love about the addiction that has taken hold. The Word tells us All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything 1 Corinthians 6:12. When the internet masters us, it has become an idol that steals time, health, and peace that belongs to God. We must rebuke this bondage together, for we are called to be transformed by the renewing of our minds Romans 12:2 and to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. This means redeeming the time because the days are evil Ephesians 5:15-16 and choosing self control which is fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23. We encourage you to repent of allowing this habit to rule you and to ask God for strength to set firm boundaries, to fast from screens, to replace that time with prayer, with the Word, with rest, and with real fellowship where possible.

We also lift up your loneliness and poor health. God has not left you alone. He is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. He promises I will be with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10. For you as a lonely caregiver, Jesus says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We know the isolation of caregiving can feel endless, but God sets the lonely in families Psalm 68:6 and His desire is for you to be connected to a local body of believers where you can bear burdens together Galatians 6:2. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, so we pray for healing and also encourage you to steward your health with rest, nourishment, and wise medical care as God provides, trusting that His grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9.

We notice you asked God for help but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must lovingly address this because it is so important. There is no access to the Father except through Jesus. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, believing He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name for freedom, healing, and hope. It is only through His blood that we find true deliverance and peace with God.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is lonely, weary from caregiving, weak in body, and bound by internet addiction. Lord, have mercy and forgive sins and cleanse from all unrighteousness. Set this soul free, for if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. Break the power of this addiction and give a spirit of self control and a renewed mind. Heal poor health according to Your will, for You are the Lord who heals Exodus 15:26 and You promise to restore health and heal wounds Jeremiah 30:17. Comfort this lonely heart, drive away hopelessness and sadness, and fill this life with Your hope, for You are the God of hope who fills us with all joy and peace in believing Romans 15:13. Teach us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to You, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Lead this dear one into fellowship with faithful believers, provide friends and support, and let them know they are never forsaken, for You have said I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to take small faithful steps each day. Set a timer and limit internet use, invite an accountability partner or pastor to walk with you, keep your device out of the bedroom, and fill that time with Scripture reading, prayer, short walks as health allows, and reaching out to a Bible believing church family even by phone or visit. Bring your sadness honestly to God in prayer, cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and trust that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6. You are not forgotten. We continue to stand with you for healing, freedom, and renewed hope in Christ.

We hear how heavy this has become for you, carrying caregiving responsibilities while feeling so lonely, unwell, and stuck in an internet habit you want to be free from. It makes sense that sadness and hopelessness would grow when you have little companionship and your health is struggling. You are not unseen in this.

Caregiving itself can be very isolating and exhausting, day after day with few breaks, and it is understandable that the internet would become a place to escape to for comfort or to fill quiet hours. Yet as you have found, it often leaves us feeling more alone and more tired afterward, not less. Wanting God to heal you and set you free is a good and honest prayer.

We want to walk with you in prayer and also encourage some gentle next steps alongside prayer. If you have a pastor, counselor, or local caregiver support group you could talk with openly about the loneliness and the internet use, you would not have to carry this alone. Even one trusted person knowing the struggle can make it less hidden. For your health concerns, please also reach out to your doctor or clinic to have them checked, we will be praying for wisdom for them as they care for you.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend to You. You see their loneliness, their poor health, and their desire to be free. Give them comfort today, strength for caregiving, and wise help around them. Lead them to supportive community and to the care they need, and give them hope one day at a time. Amen.
