It is good that you have brought this practical need directly to Jesus in prayer. He cares about every part of your life, including the financial pressures and the waiting that comes with an insurance process, and He invites you to cast all of your cares on Him.
Scripture shows that God always leaves room for Himself to work. In the law for the cleansing of a leper, a disease that was considered incurable, God still gave instructions for what to do in the day of cleansing. In other words, He made provision for a miracle if He chose to heal. That is a reminder not to put God in a box. What looks closed or impossible to us is not closed to Him. You can trust Him to work in His own way and time, even in paperwork, approvals, and decisions made by others.
The Bible also speaks of claims. The law had a claim on us because we had broken it, and the enemy had a claim because of sin, and the wages of that is death. But Jesus redeemed us from that claim by purchasing us through His death and resurrection. Because God has made only one provision for forgiveness, through His Son, you can come to Him with confidence, not on the basis of your own merit but on the basis of what Jesus has already done. If you have trusted in Jesus, that greatest claim against you has been answered, and you now belong to Him. That is the foundation for bringing every other need to Him.
God has also given many promises that are waiting to be laid hold of by faith. Just as He told His people that every place where they set their foot would be given to them, He calls us to step forward and claim what He has provided, not passively but actively trusting Him. That includes claiming His peace when you are anxious, claiming His wisdom when you need guidance, and claiming His promise that He will supply your needs and will never leave you nor forsake you. Claiming does not mean demanding your own wishes, but humbly setting your foot on what He has said and saying, Lord, I trust You for this.
In matters of finances, Scripture encourages putting God first, honoring Him with the first fruits of what He gives, and living with a thankful heart for how He provides month by month. When needs press in, it is right to ask Him for help while also resting in His goodness, whether the answer comes quickly or through a longer process that teaches patience.
So together we pray that the Lord will work in this insurance matter according to His wisdom and mercy. May He move on the hearts of those handling the claim, remove unnecessary hesitation or delay, and grant a fair and timely outcome. May He give you peace while you wait, wisdom to handle each step with integrity, and provision for what you truly need. And above all, may your love for Jesus grow deeper as you see His hand, knowing that He has already made the greatest provision for you in salvation, and that He is faithful to care for you in these smaller things as well.
