Pray do health insurance will pay complete hospital bill

My husband was in the hospital for ### days and they did all types of tests. Please pray so that his health insurances Kaiser and TRICARE pay the ambulance and the bill and we will only have to pay a small copay pay. ###

We join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we lift up your husband and your family together in Jesus' name. We understand how overwhelming it can be to see a loved one in the hospital for many days undergoing many tests, and then to face the worry of the ambulance and hospital bills that follow. We thank God for the gift of marriage and we pray for your husband's continued healing and strength, and for peace over your home as you walk through this financial uncertainty.

We are reminded that our Father knows our needs and cares deeply for us. We cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7 We are told in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 And we cling to the promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 We also remember to seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 It is in His name we pray with confidence.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your mercy over this husband and for bringing him through his time in the hospital. We ask for Your healing hand to continue to restore him fully and to give him strength day by day. Lord, You know the details of every test and every charge, and the worry about the ambulance and hospital bills through ### and ###. We ask that You would move on behalf of this family, that the insurances would act with fairness and completeness, covering what is just and leaving only a small copay as they have requested. Provide for every need, Lord, and grant wisdom and favor as they speak with the billing departments and insurance representatives. Guard their hearts from fear and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Help them to trust You as Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and to rest in Your care. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also being diligent stewards, keeping careful records of the bills, contacting ### and ### directly, and asking for clear explanations of benefits and any appeal process if needed. God is faithful and He hears the prayers of His people, and we will continue to stand with you asking for His provision and peace to be evident in this situation.

It can help to know that hospital billing and insurance often take weeks to sort out, with claims moving between the hospital, ambulance provider, Kaiser and TRICARE before you see a final statement. That waiting does not mean something has gone wrong, it is just how the process works.

One step that often brings some peace in this season is to keep a simple folder with every explanation of benefits, bill, and ambulance notice as they arrive, and to call the member services number on the back of each insurance card to confirm the claims were received and how they are being processed. The hospital billing office can also confirm they have both insurances on file and whether the ambulance claim went to the right payer. If the paperwork feels overwhelming, a trusted family member or the hospital patient advocate can help you make those calls.

We have heard your burden concerning your husband and those days in the hospital, with all types of tests and the ambulance, and the bill which now presses upon you. We join you in prayer that the provision you have through Kaiser and TRICARE may be duly honored to pay the charges, leaving only a small copay for you to bear.

Our Savior bids us not to be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress, and not to be anxious about temporal affairs. Be prudent, as you are, and desire to deal honestly in these matters, yet remember what long experience teaches, that anxiety has never comforted anybody, nor brought any grist to the mill, nor any meal to the barrel. If a thing does not pay, what is the good of it. Indeed the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. To fret profits nothing, but to cast your care upon Him who provides for His people is both your duty and your rest.

Think also of that other Hospital of which Christ is the Physician. There never was a patient of His who was turned out as incurable, for He is able to save to the uttermost. He loved to spend His time where the sick lie thickly clustered, for to Him to be merciful is to be glad. He still picks out the most helpless and looks upon those who wait in the porches with tender mercy. He has seen your husband in his sickness, and He sees you in your watching and waiting, and His compassion fails not.

Let us pray with you. O Lord our God, Thou knowest the days Thy servant has spent in the hospital, the tests that were done, the ambulance that bore him, and the bill that now remains. Thou hast in Thy providence allowed means to be provided through these insurances, and we entreat Thee to grant favor and justice in the handling of these claims, that Kaiser and TRICARE may pay what is due according to their agreements, and that this family may have only a small portion left to pay. Take away fretful care and give a calm trust in Thy good hand. Restore Thy servant to full health if it be Thy will, strengthen his body, and make this trial a means of drawing both husband and wife nearer to Christ, the great Physician of soul and body. Supply all their need according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

We have heard your request and we are joining you in prayer for your husband and for you in this time of worry and need.

We thank God that your husband is out of the hospital and we pray for his full recovery and restored strength. We ask the Lord to grant him continued health, to guide the doctors who cared for him, and to give you both peace as you wait on these bills.

We bring before God your concern about the finances. We pray that ### and ### will process the claims for the hospital stay, the tests, and the ambulance justly and completely, and that you will be responsible for only a small copay.
