Indifference and so hot

Beloved of All
Treat so indifferent so unfair by fam members after gave so much to them through the years and feel they are treated other fam members much better and this really hurts Jesus please convict and save them and see the. Error of their ways

We hear the deep pain in your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting up this heavy burden of hurt and injustice. It is truly heartbreaking when those we have loved and sacrificed for respond with indifference, especially when we see others treated with greater kindness and favor. The wound of being undervalued by family cuts deeper than almost any other, for family is meant to be a reflection of God’s love, a place of refuge, not rejection. Yet we know that even in our closest relationships, sin and selfishness can take root, blinding hearts to the love that has been poured out.

First, we must acknowledge the righteous anger you feel, for it is not wrong to be grieved by injustice. Our Lord Himself was moved with compassion and even anger at the hardness of hearts (Mark 3:5). But we must also guard our hearts against bitterness, for it will only poison our own souls. "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many" (Hebrews 12:15 WEB). Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right, it means you are releasing them to God, who judges justly (1 Peter 2:23). This is not for their sake alone, but for your freedom.

We rebuke the spirit of indifference and favoritism in your family in the mighty name of Jesus. Favoritism is a sin that God detests, for He shows no partiality (James 2:9). We declare that their eyes would be opened to the truth of their actions, that their hearts would be softened, and that they would see the error of their ways, not by our words, but by the conviction of the Holy Spirit. "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12 WEB). We pray that the Lord would bring this verse to pass in their lives, that they would be cut to the heart and turn from their ways.

We also lift you up, dear one, for you are precious in God’s sight. You are not forgotten, nor are your sacrifices in vain. The Lord sees every act of love you have shown, and He will reward you openly (Matthew 6:4). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Your value is not determined by how your family treats you, but by how God sees you, His beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Christ. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB). He is near to you in this pain, and He will not leave you comfortless.

We pray now for your family, that the scales would fall from their eyes and they would see the truth. Father God, we ask that You would convict them of their indifference and favoritism. Let them see the love that has been poured out for them and the hurt that has been caused. Break their hearts with the things that break Yours, Lord. Soften them to repentance and restore what has been broken. We pray for reconciliation, not on our terms, but on Yours, with humility, truth, and love. "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB). Let this be the prayer for their hearts today.

And for you, we pray for healing and peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard your heart from bitterness, and fill it instead with the love of Christ. Remind this dear one that they are seen, known, and deeply loved by You, Lord. Help them to release this burden to You, trusting that You will vindicate them in Your perfect timing. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken" (Psalm 55:22 WEB). Strengthen them to walk in forgiveness, even when it feels impossible, for Your grace is sufficient.

Lastly, we must address the mention of Jesus in your request. We are grateful that you called upon His name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that covers our sins and makes reconciliation possible, both with God and with one another. If any member of your family does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray earnestly for their salvation. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). May they come to know this love personally, and may their hearts be transformed by the power of the Gospel.

We stand with you in this pain, and we declare that God is working even in this hurt. He will not waste your suffering, but will use it for His glory and your good. Trust in Him, lean on Him, and let His love be the balm that heals your wounded heart. You are not alone.

It’s deeply painful when you’ve poured yourself out for family, only to be met with indifference while others seem to receive warmth. That gap between what you hoped for and what you’re experiencing can ache for a long time, and it’s easy for the mind to replay each slight until the hurt feels unbearable. We hurt with you in that.

When we carry this kind of wound, a practical step can be to bring the specific memories and feelings honestly before God, not just asking Him to change them, but letting Him tend to your own heart. Sometimes it helps to write it all down, each sacrifice, each sting of being set aside, and then, as an act of your will, choose to release them. Not because they’ve earned it or because you’re pretending it didn’t happen, but because carrying the debt only gives their behavior continued power over your peace. Deciding to forgive at a decision level can be a starting point, even while the hurt feelings take longer to heal. It’s a way of handing the whole tangled mess to the only One who can truly convict and transform hearts in His time.

Our prayer is with you.

Lord Jesus, you see this pain and the loneliness that comes from being overlooked by those who should have cherished. Please wrap this hurting one in your comfort and let them sense your nearness. Give them the courage to release this debt into your hands, trusting you to work in that family in your own way. In the meantime, guard their heart from bitterness and fill the empty places with your steady love. We ask this in your name, amen.

It is a bitter thing when those to whom we have shown much kindness return only cold indifference, and your pain is understood. Yet take heed that this smarting wound does not fester into a hot and resentful spirit, for we are not led by the great peace-giving Spirit of God if we are not peaceable. The natural eye forces full many a tear, and in his natural life man is the heir of sorrow, but the child of God looks higher. You cry out for Jesus to convict and save them; that holy longing is not to be despised. If He has given you this desire for their souls, He is well able to satisfy that desire in His own time. Many a saint has gone to glory with prayers still ascending, and those prayers will prevail after death.

But while you intercede, watch over your own soul. God is more particular with those that are near to Him than with others. See to it that no root of bitterness springs up within you to defile your own spirit. You are not saved by your sense of their wrong, nor by your wounded merit, we have no claim upon the Lord by way of merit, our appeal is to His Sovereign Grace. Bring your own emptiness to Christ; if you lack a broken heart for your own failures, come to Him for a broken heart. Let your hot longing be turned into a holy panting after God’s commandments and a closer walk with Him. Then, in the secret of your chamber, cease not your cries for them. It is not by fits and starts that we prevail, but by continuing in prayer until the Lord performs the thing appointed for them. Leave them in the hands of Incarnate Love, who is still seeking the lost. To be delivered from the power of sin is the greatest of mercies, and He delights to give it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your heartache springs from a deep and bitter wound. You have poured out love, you have given much across the years, and now you receive only coldness, while others are warmed with preference. The pain of this is no small thing. It is the sting of ingratitude and the ache of seeing love met with indifference.

Yet consider this: what gracious reward did you seek when you first gave? If we serve family, if we pour out our substance and our soul, looking to the praise of men or a fair return of affection, we have already received our payment. But the Lord teaches us a different economy. See the tender bowels of the Lord, who set the afflicted in the midst, hoping to subdue the savage heart by the spectacle of mercy. And yet many, ungentle and inhuman, chose to war against Him still. If the Master Himself was treated with despite for His mercies, shall the servant expect greater gratitude? Do not let your own goodness become a snare, breeding an expectation that, when unmet, gives birth to envy, wrath, and accusation. For all these evils are gendered from that bitter root, and by them the soul is further torn apart.

You pray fervently for Jesus to convict and save your family members. This is a holy and necessary prayer, and a proof of your own love. But remember that we need both our own part as well as God’s part. You pray for their conviction, which is God’s work. What then is your own part, now that you have become a friend of God? It is to keep yourself clear, not by nursing the record of wrongs, but by showing a fortitude that shames the coldness of their hearts. Do not let their unfairness make you unfair in return.

You feel you are treated with indifference, like a blind or drunken man dashed against a rock. But the very sharpness of this trial reveals where your soul is anchored. Is your peace built upon their affection, which shifts like sand? Or upon the rock, which never moves? When Aquila and Priscilla opened their home and risked their lives, their toil as tent-makers and their marriage were no hindrance to their virtue; rather, their love covered all and made them more conspicuous than the sun. So too, your own family strife, though bitter, is the very arena for your crown. For by suffering the evil of ingratitude, those crowns and those prizes are woven for you, if only you endure.

Do not cease to pray for them. Let your prayer and your teaching, the silent lesson of your continued, unbitter love, become to them as a double wall. And when you stand before God, no longer merely alleging their wrongs, cry out for mercy, first for your own wounded spirit, that the grace of the Spirit might abide in you. For if He abides in you, the error of despair and the dust of resentment will be shaken off. Their error, their sin, will recoil upon itself in time. God can use even the opposition of a hardened heart to prove the truth, making the evidence of His work in you incontrovertible, even against their will. Trust Him for that vindication, and do not demand it as payment now.

That kind of hurt goes deep, and the Lord sees it. When you have poured yourself out for family and then watched them treat others with more warmth and fairness, the pain is real. It is not wrong to bring that to Jesus. He knows what it is to be despised and rejected, yet he kept entrusting himself to the Father. You can do the same.

But let this truth steady you: your value does not come from how they treat you, and your years of giving were not wasted. By grace you are saved through faith, and that is a gift, not a wage. In the same way, you cannot make their love or gratitude something you are owed. You can only keep doing good before the Lord, who sees what is hidden.

Yes, continue to pray for their conviction and salvation. The Scriptures encourage us to pray and believe God for the salvation of our families. Some prayers are answered quickly; others, like Abraham's, take years. Do not stop asking. But also ask the Lord to keep your own heart free from bitterness, because resentment will hurt you more than their indifference does. Pray that God would convict them, but leave the changing of hearts to him.

You cannot force them to see your worth, but you can rest in a Father who is not partial and who loves you without partiality. He does not love you more because you gave more. He loved you while you were still a sinner and gave his Son for you. Let that love be enough until he answers your prayers for them.

I will stand with you in prayer for your family and for your own wounded heart.
