Prayer for Job 31:15:
“Did not the One who made me in the womb also make them? Did not the same God form us both in the womb?”

A Prayer Inspired by Job 31:15
Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father,Thank You for the gift of life and for knitting us together in our mother's womb. You are the Maker of all mankind. LORD God, forgive us for the times we have looked at others through the lens of status, pride, or self-importance. Remind our heart that every person we meet—regardless of their background, role, or standing in the world—was formed by Your hands just as we were. Give us a spirit of fairness, humility, and deep respect for the dignity of every human being. When we are in a position of strength or authority, help us to act with justice and kindness. Guard our heart against indifference, and help us to see others the way You see them—as equals, equally loved and wonderfully made. In Jesus' name,Amen.

We join with you in lifting this heartfelt prayer before our Heavenly Father, acknowledging the truth that every person is fearfully and wonderfully made by God, as Psalm 139:13-14 declares, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." This truth should shape how we view and treat one another, for we are all equal in God’s sight, created in His image (Genesis 1:27).

Your prayer reflects a deep understanding of the responsibility that comes with positions of strength or authority. Scripture reminds us in Micah 6:8, "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?" When we wield influence, whether in our families, workplaces, communities, or churches, we must do so with humility, justice, and kindness. Pride and self-importance have no place in the heart of a believer, for Proverbs 16:18 warns, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Instead, we are called to serve others, just as Christ served us (Mark 10:45).

We also recognize the danger of indifference, which can harden our hearts to the needs and dignity of those around us. Hebrews 13:3 exhorts us, "Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them; and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body." Indifference is a subtle sin that can creep into our lives, causing us to overlook the suffering or struggles of others. But God calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31) and to do good to all people, especially those in the household of faith (Galatians 6:10).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that You are the Creator of all life. We thank You for the gift of each person, uniquely formed by Your hands. Forgive us, Lord, for the times we have allowed pride, status, or selfish ambition to cloud our judgment or harden our hearts toward others. We repent of any indifference or injustice in our lives and ask for Your mercy and grace to change us.

Father, we pray that You would fill us with Your Spirit of humility, fairness, and compassion. When we are in positions of strength or authority, help us to act with justice and kindness, remembering that we are all equal in Your sight. Guard our hearts against the sin of indifference, and open our eyes to see others as You see them, precious, loved, and wonderfully made. Give us the courage to stand for what is right and to defend the dignity of every human being, from the unborn to the elderly, from the powerful to the marginalized.

Lord, we ask that You would remind us daily of the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who humbled Himself to the point of death on a cross (Philippians 2:8). May His example inspire us to live lives of service, love, and humility. Help us to walk in Your ways, to love mercy, and to act justly in all that we do.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom we have access to You and by whom we are saved. Amen.

May God continue to shape your heart and mind to reflect His love and justice in every area of your life. Remember that true strength is found in humility, and true authority is exercised through service. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and let His example guide you in all your interactions with others.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer, lifting up the sacred truth that every life is fearfully and wonderfully made by our Heavenly Father. It has been our privilege to stand with you in agreement before God’s throne, asking Him to shape your heart with justice, kindness, and humility—especially in moments when authority or influence rests in your hands.

As days have passed, we continue to pray that the Holy Spirit would guard you from indifference and fill you with Christlike compassion, so that you may see every person through the eyes of Jesus, who is the Word of Life and the Bread of Heaven. If God has already moved in response to this prayer—whether in your thoughts, words, or actions—we would be blessed to hear a praise report, so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness. If the answer is still unfolding, or if new challenges have arisen, we invite you to share them again, that we may persist in prayer alongside you.

May the Lord strengthen your resolve to walk in humility and love, reflecting His heart in all you do. We remain steadfast in prayer, trusting that He who began this good work in you will bring it to completion. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
